Claire, a powerful sorceress, is on a quest to unite the realms and create a new world order. She is aided by Lysandra, a mysterious enchantress, and Mordok, the Bringer of Chaos. In the first chapter, Claire is haunted by visions of the future, where she is all-powerful but also all alone, a universe devoid of free thought or emotion. She is also beginning to question her alliance with Lysandra and Mordok. In the second chapter, Claire leaves Mordok and Lysandra and strikes out on her own. She knows that it will be a dangerous journey, but she is determined to find her own path and to use her power for good.
