Emily Riker
Age: 18
Parents: Hank and Anna
Brother: Evan
Gets abused by her parents all the time because they believe she’s incomplete as she came of age where she would get her wolf and her wolf never came so they began abusing her mentally all the time and physically at times. They tell her she is no good to them or the pack but they won’t let her leave because of the rules of the pack. Their alpha has said if anyone without a mate leaves the pack, they would be labeled as a rogue and the parents would be an embarrassment to the pack which led them to not letting her go. They took away most of her things and left her with only a mattress and blankets and a few clothes and gave away everything else to other families and said it was her idea and she didn’t need them. Her brother never knew what was going on but he would soon find out.

On with the story!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Emily sat by the creek in the woods near the packhouse where she lived with her parents. They had become abusive towards her because her wolf never came. She can’t leave because of the pack rules and her parents don’t want to be embarrassed and they don’t want her telling anyone about her not having a wolf because that would also bring embarrassment. Her brother was coming home from college in a couple days. He always called her but she never told him what was going on. She felt she was being watched but looked around and saw no one there. She wished she could run away and she tried to before but her parents found her which led to the worst beating of her life. They took her to the pack hospital and told the doctor she was attacked by a rogue in the woods. She got up and headed home and walked in and was immediately hit in the face with her mother’s hand.
“Where were you, you little bitch,” Anna said.
“Sitting by the creek is all,” Emily said.
“You will not leave this house again, you understand me!” Anna said. She pushed her to the ground and began beating her. Her father came and began screaming at her. They dragged her to her bedroom and threw her on her mattress and closed the door and locked it from the outside. She laid there sobbing softly on her bed. She prayed to the moon goddess for her mate to come and take her away from them and prayed her brother came home. She didn’t know how long she laid there drifting in and out of consciousness. She heard voices in the house and her brother’s voice.
“Where’s Emily?” she heard her brother asked.
“She’s not feeling well, honey, so it’s best you don’t disturb her until she’s better,” she heard her mother say. She knew it was a lie. They didn’t want him to see their handiwork. She laid there with tears running down her cheeks. She knew not to text him on his phone or they would come take her hidden phone away. She kept it hidden where they couldn’t find it even if they turn the room apart.
“I really missed her,” she heard Evan say.
“Well you can spend time with us for now, son, we’ve missed you around here,” she heard her father say. She laid there crying softly as she heard them carry on like she wasn’t there.
