Lovely segment
"Lovely segment of this continuing saga. Thank you for sharing your creative and imaginative writing with us readers. I look forward to reading more of the sequels to this story."
Human Nature and Portals
"The Sewer of Horrors begins with a couple who are happily enjoying life when someone sees them, intent on ruining it for them. They are suddenly thrown into the sewer where they must endure excruciating pain through multiple portals to get out. Things seem hopeless, but the plot takes a turn when they meet their captor. Throughout the book, the question comes up about whether characters, or humans in general, are good or bad. Many times, an evil character turns out to have a story behind their behavior(s) and it is important to hear them out. The tale questions whether regret or lack thereof is more important for living a free life and if cult members are of the same ideology as their leader. It turns out that even the evillest character may have at least one good thing about them, like caring for the environment, for example. There are lessons to be learned here. There are funny moments and symbolism peppered throughout the story. Also, there is a tie-in of characters from another story by @xtrole. I love when authors do that! It's a fun read and a great way to engage in devil's advocate-type thinking. I was pleasantly surprised by the characters and even though the ending had a slightly ominous tone, it was realistic. I'm thinking that maybe there could be a sequel! "
