Chapter 1
*RINGGGGGG*
Ryker scoffs.
¨Really? Fourth time in the last hour.. Freya needs to calm down.¨
He picks the phone up and pulls it to his ear.
¨Freya-¨
Ryker pauses as he didnt hear his girlfriends voice, but a mans deep breathing instead.
¨Hello? Is this Jonathan? Freyas brother? Come on man, it's not funny¨
¨...look inside...¨
Ryker froze, what did this guy mean? Look inside? Look inside of what? Suddenly the man hung up leaving Ryker to be alone and confused. He got up and went to the kitchen; making a sandwich will surely distract him from that creepy guy. Slapping some ham onto the bread he heard the phone ring again. He was hesitant this time. What if Freyas calling...? Ryker thought to himself. He set the ham down and walked to the phone. He held it a little further away from his ear than last time.
¨Freya...?¨
Once again...no Freya. Only a man's deep sighing.
¨ Come on bro, this isnt funny. I bet this is Matt and Ethan trying to prank me! Just stop! It's freaking me out!¨
¨ Look inside....look inside...¨
Immediately Ryker hung up.
¨What the fuck...¨ was the only thing he could think of saying after hearing the man say Look inside again.
The next hour was quiet..his parents should be home soon. The man has not called again since he hung up on him. Ryker decided to go take a shower to calm his nerves. Once in the bathroom he got undressed. He steps into the shower and turns it on. Something wasnt right though...he felt like he was being watched. His eyes shot to every corner of the bathroom, but no one was there...nothing was there. Why was he being paranoid? Hes never felt paranoid in his life..why is it happening now?
¨Stupid prank caller...¨ he thought to himself as he closed his eyes to rinse his hair.
After his shower he got dressed. Ryker was still on edge and thought that going to bed early didnt sound like a bad idea now. Once inside his room he closed and locked the door. The phone in his room rang.
Ryker jumps at the sound and whips around, staring at it. He just lets it ring...doesnt even think about answering it. It stops ringing, then immediately rings again.
¨Shit..this is freaky¨ Ryker whispers to himself.
He picks the phone up, this time he hears Freyas voice
¨Look inside Ryker...¨
¨Freya what the fuck? Is this a prank? Look inside of where?¨
He hears her giggle.
¨Look...inside...yourself....¨
She hangs up. He stares at the phone. Look inside himself.....
All of a sudden a sheer pain rips through his stomach. He clutches it and falls to the ground. He yelps and cries; why is his stomach hurting so badly??
Ryker wants the pain to stop, it hurts so badly...so so badly..he crawls to his door and opens it. The pain is getting worse. He gets to the stairs and tries crawling down them. He falls. His mind is racing..he wants the pain to end...how can he get the pain to end?
Cut it out...cut it out of your stomach...
That was the thought that came to mind...Ryker cries as he crawls into the kitchen. He can't stand but he tries reaching for a knife...Knocking one onto the ground he picks it up...
¨ Ryker...?¨ was the last thing he heard before stabbing himself in the stomach, killing himself.
As he took his final breath he realized...it was all a nightmare..he had slept walked and grabbed a knife..now it was inside of him, he had fallen asleep while on the phone with Freya...his nightmares were common..sleep walking was common for him..but he mixed this one up with reality...
His vision went black.
