Chapter 1
Where has the wonder gone? Where is all the magick? Did it leave me when I fell asleep and got lost inside the dream? Or is waiting around the bend in a land I cannot see?
I'm cold inside, alone and scared of what I do not know. I'm standing at a crossroads unsure of where to go. The road behind is familiar, the road ahead unknown. The path to the left is heavy with thorns to the right a trail of stone.
I can't go back to where I've been, the lessons there I've learned. The life I've led, the roads I've walked, those bridges have been burned.
Thorns have torn my flesh, stones have bruised my feet so I turn my eyes to the path ahead where something waits for me.
I don't know where I'm going but it's time I was on my way and as I journey into the unknown to my gods I pray.
Shine your light upon my path, be my beacon in the dark. As I search guide my steps be the strength within my heart. Help me find knowledge about myself and who I'm meant to be. Help me face my shadows open my eyes so I can see.
