The day November 7, 2016 is when the world stopped for us. Our friend Tanya Gibson was murdered. How did this happen? Let me tell the story. August 19, 2016. Sitting in the lunch room waiting on my friends. I was 16 and a junior in high school. My birthday wasn’t till October, the 22nd to be exact. I also had the best group of friends anyone could ask. It was Me I normally like to be to myself. Love to smoke and just vibe out. I had some issues not everyone knew about until later. He was 19 already out of high school. There was Judith she was 17. A real popular girl everyone knew her but she was bitchy like the one’s in movies. So we thought. Summer who is 18 and Judith’s girlfriend. A secret only we knew. Then there was Tanya. Beautiful. 17 years old and full of light. Why would anyone hurt her.

He leaves, hear the bell which my last bell so I could go home. Definitely gives me time to smoke before this dress shopping shit. I get up from the table and walk to the parking lot to my car. As I’m walking I run into someone

I ran out the room before it can go farther but then this is when I see Tanya screaming.

Tanya: PARTY OVER, GET OUT NOW

Y/n: what’s going on

Lyle: I don’t know she grabbed a drink looking sad, and started yelling at everyone

I walked up to her

Tanya: get out

Y/n: what’s wrong?

Tanya: party is over, leave I’ll see you at school

Lyle: I don’t think you should be alone right now

She started throwing things at us and we run before we get hurt

Y/n: what the hell just happened

Lyle: I have no idea
