Chapter 1

That motherfucker when I see him one day I will kill him. King Of Esmond selfish, rude but mostly a greedy shit head. “Tell me the story tell me please Goddess Aylin ” touching my hand as the small one coddle me, my baby sister looks at me with eyes of curiosity full of life and wonder ” Wait Tiana I have a place to be, I promise I won’t be long” as I pull my hand out of her grip. Her eyes glossy like tears are about to come out.

The king is gone nowhere to be found, my dreams are over just because of that shithead. Yes, me a Goddess of the people of Esmond even worse the Goddess of the only universe that has the flower, hell no. “I will not take long darling, what shall I bring for you on my trip?”

Kneeling down in front of her. As she places her index finger on her chin clearly thinking, ” Fruitnups” she said “Are you sure that all you seek for?” I asked “Yes and bring lots of It” my heart is filled with warmth “Okay I shall do that and take care of yourself but mostly our mother”

As I say goodbye to the only child who ever knew who I was. The fields of flowers fill my nostrils , and silence fills around me. I looked back one more time and waved for the last time before disappearing to the woods. Hatred , anger, and ran trough my body, through every vain and breath that I took.

The wood were a scary place to be in the middle of the night, caves ever filled around here plus it is still day time and I could find one soon enough without trouble. The birds chipping the farther inside the woods I go, the crunchy sound leaves beneath every step I take. Everything is calm but I wasn’t, it has been long since the last time I have been calm. Being a Goddess was never in my plans but here I was in searching for that shithead that is the cause of my misery.

The sun has set the stars are coming of view and for most part the wolf have come out to play, not that I can die or something. The moon never came out especially in summer but tonight it did and it is shining so brightly It hurts my eyes.

The nearest cave came into view, I was now in the depths of the forest where no human came in but I am not sure if goddess’ were allowed. Kicking a rock while waking “Where is he that shit sack, I hope I can put...” I hear a growl behind me that make me stop on my tracks. “Shit nuts” Mummering under my breath. I knew that there were wolfs in the depths of the mountains, I am as stupid as a dog can get, oh wait I am about to be chased by something almost like a dog so I am a dog in this case.

I turn around to see the wolf that is so large in a way I cannot believe. That is definitely not a dog I take that back. “Hey there doggy” as I extended my hand to it, it growled, showing it’s large teeth, it’s eyes were red and it’s fur was black. My breath quickening and the cold air making my skin prickle.

Before I could blink another wolf tacked the black one down. I didn’t bother looking at the other wolf I ran. The wind blowing away my hair my feet feel like they are carrying me with the wind, The caves mouth was just ahead of me only if I could run and get there before the wolf got to me. I turned my face to my sides, the were wolves on both my sides running with me. Should I be scared or happy that they are not taking me down or should I keep running. Yep definitely the first thought. I should be scared. The caves mouth was open, I made it to the inside of the cave where the wolves stopped on the outside and did not entered. Every cave had a barrier that did not allow any animal or creature entering other than a human in. I am as surprised that I made it through because I am still a goddess, a half one at least not yet a full Goddess.

My heart was trumping in my chest like it was seeking it’s way out. I did not notice the fire that was made and the warmth of the cave. The cave was warm because of the barrier that keeps all the wind and coldness out. As I turn around I see and young lady that seems very much not alarmed by my presence . “Hello, am I intruding or something” my voice quirky, she laughed me off like I was not a stranger she just met and just barged in her cave.

"You should take a seat by the fire, I will fix you some food. You must be hungry from a long journey” my body still alert, I did not trust this woman maybe it’s because I trusted too much and now it has became my enemy to trust. Slowly I made my way to the open fire and sat down next to the warmth, I did not realize how much having a cozy place made me realize how tired and hungry I was, Plus the cool air that the forest produced made me cold.

“You have came a long way to get here” she said

I looked at her as she prepared some food. “Yes I have” she stood up to where she was crouched down and made her way to me and gave me the bowl of soup that smelt delicious. She took a seat next to me. For a moment I looked around the cave, I knew there were caves around here from history books but I have never seen one in person. The cave is not big nor small but it can be able to accommodate two people. There were pots that were neatly packed and some travel gear tucked neatly next to my left. There was a wall on my left then the cave mouth on my right.

You can still see the forest outside and sky filled with stars. “Where are you headed” she asked, sipping on her soup. I am not sure if I should tell her but I will take out because I have a long way to go before finding the mountains and with no company. ” I am headed for the mountains” I said in a low voice “Well you are in it for a journey. Why is a human going into the mountains say the least searching for the mountains” she said ” Well I am searching for something I cannot say exactly what but something” I said, fearing to even look at her. “Do you want me to tell you a story” That was an odd request but a story will not kill a soul ” Yes sure go ahead” I continued to sip on the soup, she started.

“The was man who craved for immortality and wanted prosperity, so he set out to a journey of finding the power of long life and prosperity, no one has ever seen found or even attempted to find it but the man was so determined to find it even if it meant killing a person, he went deep in the mountains, it took him months to find it, he came across shining and a sparkling waterfall inside the mountains, there were animals, plant and every magical thing you can imagine. Water was very hard to find inside the mountains as he was about to drink the water the protector of the power appeared. The protector looked beautiful with the light coming though the mountains and ... . .”

The wolf howls sound traveled in my ears, she stopped talking then got up and place the dish away “You should rest you have a long day of journey tomorrow” she went to the blankets that were layered close to the fire clearly to keep warm.

“Who are you and why are you being kind to me, I mean I just barged in your cave and you just accepted me and moved on and even offered me food?” she just stared at me with here brown eyes that are full of knowing and the body that is healthy and very well tucked in all the layers of clothing and her radiant skin “The other blankets are over there” pointing at there travel gear which was a huge backpack that could fit endless things.

I set up everything. And I stopped asking questions. In my head I had all these questions , like why did you stop telling me the story?, or what is your name? . All those questions were flooding my mind, maybe I shall ask them when we meet again or are we even gonna meet again?

The first chapter is well-crafted, demonstrating its potential with a gradual build-up of the narrative. The first-person perspective effectively allows us to witness the protagonist's journey with vivid details. However, I noticed a few grammar issues, such as in paragraph 4 where it seems you intended to convey, "hatred and anger ran through my body." Overall, the story is easy to follow and holds promise.
