A refreshing vampire story

"The imagination and the inclusion of different vampires from around the world was intriguing, and the ranking system is one I haven't seen before. The characters are fun and engaging, and we're pulled into the same world as the MC to learn and navigate it as he does. There were some instances where there was a bit of whiplash going from the perspective of one person to another without any sort of break in between, which happened in a couple chapters. Also, the word "allure" is used a lot. Other synonyms would make it flow a little better and be less repetitive. The descriptions were exceptional, but there were times where I felt they could be pared back a little to tighten the prose and keep the pace and flow going nicely. Overall, though, the level of detail and thought put into this really shows, and the writing is superb. "
