Chapter 1
Mirena Hatter wakes up when the sun shines through the window. She gets up from the bed, goes to the window. She opens the white curtains letting the sunshine in. After she does so she goes to the bathroom. She walks in shutting the door. The bathroom was white with a tea cup and teapot wallpaper. Mirena uses the bathroom before coming out. She then leaves the room going down the hall. She walks into the kitchen. She starts to look for something to make for breakfast. Terren Hatter wakes up shortly after Mirena does. He gets out of the bed to the bathroom. He uses it before leaving the room. He goes down the hall to the kitchen walking in.
“Morning Darling, what are you making for breakfast?” Terren Hatter asked curiously.
“Morning Dear, I’m not sure I'm looking at what we have first. Looks like eggs, bacon and toast. We need to go shopping again, the kids seem to eat a lot. Can you go wake the kids please? ” Mirena answered.
“ Sure I can, it’s time for them to get up anyways. I’ll let you cook breakfast. “ He said, heading back up the stairs.
Once he goes back upstairs he goes to the first room on the left. He opens the door, turning on the light. This room belongs to the youngest Jazzaray. He turns on the light going to the bed. He lightly shakes her to wake her up.
“ Jazzaray Sweetie, time to wake up. “ Terren Hatter said softly.
Jazzaray slowly wakes up looking at her Daddy. She rubs her eyes while yawning.
“ Morning Daddy. “ She looks at him.
“ Morning Jazzaray, Mommy making breakfast if you're hungry. “ He gently ruffled her hair.
“ Okay Daddy.” Jazzaray got out of bed heading to the bathroom.
The kids bathroom was located on the left side of the hallway. Their bathroom was white with multicolored wallpaper. Once she is done she heads downstairs to the kitchen. Terren Hatter goes across the hall into the oldest Jazz’s room. He opens the door, turning on the light.
“ Jazz time to get up. “ Terren Hatter said softly.
Jazz wakes up looking at his Dad.
“ I don’t want to get up right now. 30 more minutes please pretty please Father. “
“ No, your Mother is making breakfast as we speak. Time to get up now please. “ He looked at Jazz.
Jazz groans as he gets out of bed.
“ Fine, I’ll get up.”
Jazz leaves his room heading to the bathroom, his Father following him out.
Terren Hatter goes downstairs to the kitchen. Jazz follows after he gets out of the bathroom. Mirena had just finished breakfast as she set it on the table. Jazzaray was already sitting at the table.
“ Anything I can do to help Mommy? “ Jazzaray asked curiously.
“ Not right now Jazzaray it’s time for breakfast. “ Mirena responded.
Jazz sits at the table looking at the food. Terren Hatter sets the table properly then sits down.
“Looks delicious Darling.”
“Thanks Dear” Mirena said sitting down serving everyone.
“Thanks Mother for breakfast.” Jazz said, taking his plate. Waits for everyone to get their plates.
Jazzaray takes her plate, setting it down on the table.
“Thank you Mommy.”
“You’re welcome to the both of you.”
Mirena serves herself and Terren Hatter before sitting down.
“You two can eat now that everyone served.”
Everyone starts eating breakfast. After breakfast, Jazzaray was the first one to finish.
Can I be excused please?” Jazzaray asked politely.
“Yes Jazzaray, you can be excused. Thank you for using your manners. “ Mirena said to Jazzaray.
Jazzaray got up, putting her plate in the sink.
“Can I have seconds please?” Jazz asked politely.
“Thank you for using your manners Jazz.”
Terren Hatter gives him a second serving of breakfast. Mirena finishes getting up by putting her plate in the sink.
“Jazzaray bath time.”
“Okay Mommy.”
Jazzaray heads up stairs to the kids bathroom. Mirena follows her up the stairs to the bathroom. Terren Hatter finishes his breakfast asking Jazz a question.
“Jazz, do you want to help me with something outside?”
“Sure Father, what are we doing outside?”
Jazz finishes breakfast setting his silverware down.
“Can I be excused Father?”
“Yes you can be excused, we are weeding your Mother’s garden that she is doing with Jazzaray.”
Terren Hatter answered Jazz’s question. Jazz gets up putting his plate in the sink.
“Okay, I’ll go get dressed.”
Jazz heads up the stairs to his room to get dressed. Terren Hatter gets up putting his plate in the sink. Then heads up the stairs to get dressed for the day. After Jazzaray is done with her bath. Mirena gets her out, dries her off and Jazzaray dresses herself.
“Thank you Mommy, need any help today with anything?” Jazzaray asked curiously.
“Yes, after your Daddy and Brother are done weeding the garden. We are going to start planting the flowers we bought.” Mirena said with joy.
“Yay, we get to start our garden!” Jazzaray said excitedly.
Terren Hatter comes down stairs heading outside to the garden. Jazz follows after his Father outside looking at all the weeds.
“Wow, that's a lot of weeds.” Jazz said, amazed.
“Yes it is, it’s been raining the past few days. That’s why it needs to be done.”
Terren Hatter goes to the shed getting a bucket to put the weeds in. Come out, setting the bucket down.
“Let’s get started.”
Terren Hatter starts pulling weeds from one side. Jazz starts on the other side of the garden.
“While we wait for them to get done, would you like to make cookies?” Mirena asked Jazzaray.
“Yay making cookies! Can they be Mint Chocolate Chip cookies?” Jazzaray asked curiously.
“That’s fine, let’s make sure we have all the ingredients to make them.”
Mirena heads down stairs to the kitchen. Jazzaray follows her down the stairs into the kitchen. Mirena looks through the cabinets to see if all the ingredients are there to make the cookies.
“Looks like the only thing we are missing is the mint chocolate chips. We need to go shopping anyway. “ Mirena said with a sigh.
“Okay Mommy, let’s go shopping. “
Jazzaray smiles heading out the door. Mirena follows her out, taking her hand. Start to walk to the store on the main strip of town. Once at the store they head to the baking aisle. Jazzaray sees her best friend Riddle Dee.
“Hey Mommy can I go say hi to Riddle, she just down the aisle? Jazzaray asked her Mother.
“Sure you can, just come back after you're done.”
Mirena looked for the Mint Chocolate Chips.
Jazzaray goes down the aisle to Riddle Dee.
“Hi Riddle, how are you?” Jazzaray asked her.
Hey Jazzie, I’m good, how about you?” Riddle asked with a smile.
I’m going to make mint chocolate chip cookies with my Mommy.” Jazzaray smiled back.
“ That’s cool, I have to go for now. I'll see if I can come over later.”
Riddle Dee leaves with her Mother going to check out. Jazzaray goes back to her Mother. Mirena finds the mint chocolate chips grabbing them.
“Ready to continue shopping, Jazzaray?” Mirena asked, putting the mint chocolate chips in the cart.
“ Yes Mommy I’m ready to continue.” Jazzaray said, putting her hand on the cart.
Mirena started to shop for the other things they needed. After they finished they went to the cashier paying for the items.
“Ready to go home Jazzaray?” Her Mother asked.
“Yes Mommy I’m ready to go home.” She replied.
Mirena gave Jazzaray some of the smaller groceries to carry home. They start to walk back to the house. Once they make it home Mirena puts all the groceries away. Jazzaray helped with the stuff she was able to do.
