An encounter with her
I was going to my home after a long tired day. I haven’t slept for 28 hours due to the workload. While walking on the street I saw a bird laying lifelessly on the ground and it took me a second to realize that it was covered in blood. Its little wings torn apart and legs shaking with fear. Such a sight broke my heart into pieces. It was too little that it fitted on my palm.I took it to my home and cherished her. Applying the bandages around her little feet and wings I got up and gave it water in a beaker. It slept after drinking the water. I named her Ruby. I stared at her patting her continuously. She was petrified and longing for love. She had skin colour feet and whole body white in colour. Time passed and i didn’t realised when i slept while staring at her with my glad eyes….
