Chapter one
He is dragging his tired body down the slippery and bold path which ends at the cliffs, still holding onto the cold and greasyhandrail, he spots the inert body.
The pathologist already examines the body. He shakes his head and looks at the elaborate draped corpse. Within the last four weeks six young women were found dead along the swedish coast.
Every corpse resembles a piece of Art. However, if one looks closer one can see the brutality the young woman was strangled and beat to death with.
She lays on her back and her hands are folded on her chest. This time the body is covered in sea grass and shells.
He again perceives this sweet and pungent smell, he assumes it has to cohere with the unnaturally white skin.
“Alexander, look!” the pathologist rips him out of his thoughts and points to a tiny object which was placed inside the woman´s mouth.
It seems to be a golden harpoon, made of metal. He takes out his old ink-stained notebook and makes a quick sketch of the corpse and the object.
After a short conversation with the man who found the young woman, he drives back to the police office and stares at his glass board which is covered in numerous pictures of the six bodies, the family of the victims, witnesses and possible weapons which were used to strangle and beat the young women.
