"This reads more like a draft than a finished story. For the most part, the author's technical writing skills are good. There are some grammar and punctuation issues that a careful reread will catch and easily fix. Some unnecessary sentences that repeat what we were just told make it slow reading in some areas. I appreciate the author wanting us to have lots of information but spreading the story out over more chapters would be a better way to deliver the information. The story has a promising plot but the story is written in a simplistic "tell the story and resolve the problems with a happy ending in an accelerated time period" style. I'd love to see the author give this story another try because it really does have the potential to be a 5-star tale. The dragons would make a great story all on their own--their characters and social structure was a great invention on the author's part. "
