What is your opinion?
Gorgeous. Absolutely.
"The potential is immaculate Allen!!!!!!! First off, finding a book that is so heavily cinematic with included custom sketches is like gem to me. I am an avid fan of cinematic writing that is not shy whatsoever to showcase every length of a singular scene - that's beauty to me! You're sentencing may be just a bit on the rougher edge, but I can tell you for a fact that with practice, with consistency and devotion, your writings will be one of a kind. I also appreciate your world-building which is so so dear to me because I used to be a fantasy-dystopia writer before getting on Inkitt. You've just inspired me to reignite that old spark! Beside the sentencing structure, I think you're doing an amazing job with the pace. With the way you write, just know there is no such thing as a "slow pace"!!! Write your heart out Allen!! Loads of love from me :))"
Fantasy Fanatic
"In a world that seems to scream Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Robin Hood, and Braveheart, the author can create a breathless story that transports you into a fantasy world. Young Carr is a criminal, plain and simple, but once his mother is raided by the tax collector, he embarks on a journey to get back what he had lost. Effortlessly, he steals back the gems, and we are introduced to a bunch of interesting characters such as Violet and Lemmant. But I have to say that your story is unpolished, so to speak, and requires just a little edit to make the sentence flow. All things considered you did a great job "
A Rogue's 1st tale
"An amusing story, with hand-drawn illustrations, introducing one to a teenage adventurer and his communities. The dialog requiring editing still gives an idea to the characters in the story. The punctuation especially when communicating with Kyrston has too many commas. I know its to accent the fact both are speaking an unfamiliar language it could use a - or two or shorten/altered. Though a typical quest the situations Carr are thrust in are kept entertaining, from those met and basic history, the trek and poor companion horse to enacting his skills. The fights detailed within were written well enough one can almost envision it blow-by-blow. The artwork requires it own mention, maps that were picked up in Carr's prior ventures. Like the one of Monsteil that looks old an tattered The drawings done in a 1st person perspective are truly original solidifying the look to Carr\s world. Three of the drawings really captured the moment. A decent adventure that just requires an edit or two, more "
