April Prologue

Even so, every month of every year is a mystery. We all wake up each day trying wondering about some of life’s biggest questions both literally and figuratively. Some mysteries might be eye-catching. Who stole the diamonds, the birth gem of this month? What’s it like to be up in the sky and watch the meteor showers? Other mysteries are normal? What’s for dinner? How many days before summer comes. Or in the case of our next story, who is that special person?

We always are down to solve a mystery both big and small. We always enjoy the breaks and the clues that are given to us as we get closer to finding the end result. But what if the mystery is so close to home that you don’t even consider that the answer might be right there in front of you the whole time. Our next pairing is about to learn that the hard way.

jo987_123: This is a good story, but it needs a good editor to go through this iteration and fix the mistakes. The pov changes from 1st person to 3rd person, often, and sometimes within one sentence. It needs a liberal sprinkling of punctuation marks throughout, and a decision needs to be made about the char...

Sharda: I really enjoyed the pace of this story. It was mostly realistic, but It was tough to wrap my head around that a 13-year-old boy would be so intuitive and a friend to his mom. My 13-year-old daughter is super smart and says I am her best friend so I guess it is possible. I struggled because boys usu...
