( Ella's pov) As I stumbled out of bed I could hear my brother's assistant shouting at me . " Miss Ella your brother calls for you now the alpha wishes to see you now!" She demands I roll my eyes sighing heavily as I follow her down stairs and into his office, I can hear him speaking with someone but couldn't tell who. Luca had been our alpha ever since his father passed away, you see we are half siblings technically I wasn't even supposed to be invited into the silver moon pack....but Lucas's mother who was also my mother had left luca at a very young age so his father raised him when he was about nine years old his father's beta showed up to his door with me in his arms I was only three at the time. Years passed we both grew up Lucas's father raised me as if I were his own, at first when I was a small child Luca did everything he could to protect me. But one day when father passed away he got news that the day I was brought to him mother had died giving birth to me. After that he acted cruel towards me, like it was my fault. As I approached the door to his study I looked at the other man standing there it was Alec , the alpha of the or enemy pack my brother had been speaking with alec for weeks trying to stop this war between our packs from continuing. I lowered my head infront of Alec showing him respect, my brother stood up smirking at me " Is that all you can do infront of your new fiance?" He muttered I glared at him confused " my fiance ....Luca you can't be serious?! I will not marry our enemy!" I shout at him hitting him in the chest angirly as members of my pack grab hold of me " you will do as I say , understand! You're lucky I let you stay in our pack at all! You ungrateful bitch!" He slaps me making me bleed as Alec steps in " I know it's not my place Alpha Luca, but It be wise for you to keep your hands off my future Luna do I make myself clear?" Alec's dark eyes turned a bright yellow as he grasped my brother's arm I stood there as he gently took my hand nodding at me " you're safe now Ella " he said in his low husky voice how could I trust him he was supposed to be our enemy. As my brother Luca called upon Darius his beta I sunk low trying to hide myself embarrassed. Luca called to Darius " Darius escort Alpha Alec and Ella back to their land ." Darius looks at me confused for a moment " sir, Lady Ella is going too?" He questioned my brother stupidly Darius was always bold " Now listen here you little shit, you're my beta ...just do what I ask no questions got it!" Darius nods at him as he and another member walk us out. I dont bother struggling because that would cause Luca to send members of silvermoon after me again Alec doesn't seem like the type of alpha to put up with any bullshit. Though I've only known him for a few moments, I knew he'd jump into action to protect me again even from my own brother. As we began to walk threw the murky forset it was cold and dark Alec stopped and covered me with his jacket he whispered to both me and darius " Darius is it?" Dairus nodded at him confused " I need you to stay here with Ella while I go on ahead make sure it's, this war is messy and don't need my future Luna getting hurt in the cross fire we are trying to bring about peace between our two packs again. " he says kissing my forehead softly as he leaves I shiver getting goosebumps as I notice Dairus's eyes turning red. " seriously Ella that asshole!? What are you ashamed to be seen with me is that it?!" He shouts angirly I sigh heavily looking at him stepping towards him stroking his face gently " Dairus....I'm not ashamed of you or us at all! My brother he just sent me away as part of their peace agreement. " " we can run away together Ella just you and me !" Dairus sighs crying softly I take his hand placing it on my tummy gently " Dairus....It is no longer just you and I , I fear the safety of our son Dairus. " he looks at me happily but nervous " it's a boy?" I nod at him smiling at him " he will be strong just like his father." I kiss him deeply as I hear Alec's voice behind us " please don't stop on my account Dairus steps infront of me " My apologies Alpha Alec she's been mated to me for sometime now this agreement what did alpha Luca promise you?" Darius demands boldy Alec smirks at him " I knew from the moment you walked into the study Ella, not sure how your own brother didn't smell it on you but I could tell you were marked already! Alpha Luca promised me his pack would stop killing and attacking the innocent people of my pack if I made a name for his sister. " I look at Dairus sighing " I must help them Dairus....if I act as though I am his Luna my brother will set everyone free then we can be together again " what about our son?! I will not let my enemy raise my blood! Or bed my mate over my dead body! " an unfamiliar voice rang out as I felt Alec pull me back into his arms as the sound of a dagger went threw darius 's body alec shouted at the man " Beau you idiot! I had it under control you just killed Alpha Lucas's beta you stupid idiot! " he shouted I dropped to my knees crying in horror as alec scooped me up . Thats when I knew I wouldn't let my brother win never again he killed Dairus and he'd pay for what he did!
