"The attention to deatil and the character development had me for a ride! Alexie and Nariya are such complex characters, and you feel a sense of attacment to what is going on with them in thier journey. The emotional chapters especially had a grip on me. Sometime the chapters can feel a bit streched and confusing but I guess the author did warn us as readers. Truely a bingeworthy book, and I look forward to what journey awaits our characters!"
Exciting and Tender
"Take a vulnerable student and a tough but lonely rogue and put them together. What do you get? A delicate romance building hand-in-hand with trust and friendship. Fears are faced and released, and new goals and ideals are forged in love. This is a captivating story where nothing is quite the way it seems. Alexie has to take a hard look at himself, his decisions and past mistakes and find a way forward, through the consequences of those mistakes and present dangers, to reach the heart of Nari, the girl who inspires him to be a better man. The gore is as shocking as the tenderness is sweet. This well-written story is wholly enjoyable and will keep you on the edge of your seat."

A thrilling ride
"This has been a fun, thrilling ride so far, not only because of the baddies we encounter, but the budding relationship between the MC and her caretaker. They have a fun dynamic that continues to deepen in a natural way. The only technicalities I would point out are some places where dialogue can be separated so speakers are more easily identified, and there are a few paragraphs randomly distributed that may not have been edited yet and are missing some punctuation. However, the intimate descriptions of a growing attraction, the stark differences between the characters' personalities, and the deepening conflict surrounding these two have been handled so nicely. This is a really good book to read. "

"I found the plot a bit cliche but interesting. The story flows so well and the characters are not color coded as black or white. I love their interaction and the story build up. I love romance novels and this is easily one of my top 3 reads. The story pacing and character growth is really good. Everyone should give it a chance."

Not My Usual Cuppa, But Highly Entertaining!
"Do you guys like to read manga books growing up? Or do you like alpha-males stories where the guy is totally protective of the girl and is willing to do everything for her? You guys should check this out! This one is totally addictive! In my opinion some parts are a little bit hard to believe but this is what fiction is and I still find it highly entertaining! Would totally get back to it later. I am now in chapter 6 and so far I really like it!!<3"
Alex is best man
"If you like slowburn romance, if millionaire mafia bosses who have a gentle side to them, and a bit of age gap trope, then you're totally going to love this story. Nari has been left all alone, after her mother's passing and her father's mysterious disappearance. Her father has entrusted her safety to one associate of his, Alex, a serious, handsome and tough guy who has contacts with the underworld. Alex takes it as an obligation to his old mentor to teach his daughter how to survive in the world, and so takes her into his own house, where it is soon obvious the two of them are very attracted to each other. Alex is a tough and serious guy, but he has a funny side to him, and he's also very caring about Nari. I like that he's gentle with her and respects her independence, teaching her, but letting her make her own choices. Nari is a teenage girl, and there are times where it's so obvious she's seventeen. She comes up with the craziest ideas about Alex, and it's not uncommon to see them playful with each other, which is really sweet. The story is not just about love, as there is quiet some action, and in my opinion, those action scenes with Alex were really great. He can be ruthless, and that contrast between the dangerous mafia boss and the caring man who is in love with Nari is so interesting. What I'd love to see is more romance interactions among themselves. I love slowburn myself, but I do feel that the story could be spiced up a bit. We do have a couple of scenes, but they're never mentioned again, and there is a particular spicy one that should have left both of them pretty confused and yearning for more for days. Overall, it's quiet an interesting story. ^_^"
