Disturbing
"This series started out ok. The plot wasn’t bad in book one. I honestly thought the author could have ended it with book one and maybe a few added chapters to tie up Kennedi’s new life. Nope. The author went on to start this one. The plot has taken a turn to crazy town and it just keeps getting worse. Just the fact that there are children involved in things no shifter would allow - children are their future and involving them would be out of the question - makes me question the whole thing. Then there’s the use of AI imagery. I wonder why an author would use them; they bring absolutely nothing to the story aside from being an annoying distraction at the beginning of the story at the least, and at the worst serve to make true artists extremely upset. If the plot weren’t so far out there and AI images weren’t used, I probably would have given this story five stars. I won’t be reading the third installment. "
