Can a matching machine make the world a better place?…

"What if there was a machine that was capable of finding the best possible matches for everyone? Irina and Tommy embark on a mission to find out if such a machine can actually be created and become an important part of how society operates after Irina’s father passes his writings about the machine that he’d envisioned down to her when he passes away. Irina also knows from tragic experience, however, that there are people who will commit senseless acts of evil unless those people are prevented from being able to do as they please, which means that she would also surely want to ensure that evil not be allowed to fester in any society, regardless of how who ends up with who is determined. Will Tommy and Irina manage to get the matching machine created and put to use? And what ideas might Irina have for trying to protect people from becoming the victims of senseless murderous evil? I’m 4 chapters into this book so far, and it really is one of the most hard-hitting stories that I’ve ever read. There is tragedy that is very saddening, but also a lot of very fun and light-hearted moments, in the story; and all the while many of the deepest social/societal questions are being brilliantly probed. I highly recommend reading this book (and the other books in the Tsvetok series), and really look forward to finding out how the rest of the story will go!"
