Chapter 1: The Garage.

The door of the abandoned garage creeks open slowly and I walk inside. The room is dusty and I pinch my nose to hold back every sneeze. I peer around everything and look for a light switch. Boxes and tins and shelves, what else is there? After a few minutes, I find the switch and the whole room fills with light.

I glance at everything through the mists of flying dust. I have never been here before and to tell you the truth, I shouldn't be here.

The boxes looked interesting yes, but I was interested in seeing what was hidden in them. I ripped the boxes, tore out the paper and styrofoam and searched. I found books, bags, hats, shoes, rackets, antique yet perfectly wrapped vases and miniature sculptures, nothing of particular interest to me. But I did find a nice glass unicorn...

I looked out the side window in the garage towards the house, thinking " who lived in that house ". Some people said the house was haunted. I finished my search after I was done looking at an old bicycle, with the rusted steering wheel and pedals, I guessed it was a boys bike. The color had faded and chipped off and the only way, that I knew of, to tell if it's a girls bike is it would have tassels on the handlebars. I walked towards the side door, which lead outside, and struggled to open it. The hinges rusted and old, I then walked across a long path outside to the house and looked at the front door. I didn't believe what people told me about the house so I wasn't scared. It was open slightly, which was creepy and I thought someone broke in or actually lived in here, but I didn't care and so I walked inside.
