"As someone who has participated in nearly every competition Green Shoes has hosted--both entering work and judging--I can say these competitions are some of the best run on the platform. The format is developed with maximum benefit for both the writer and judge. Each side is exchanging feedback to help both grow. The rubric used is so thorough and allows for in-depth analysis both of the good and providing a safe environment to receive critique as well. I've learned so much from both judging and competing and would recommend this and any competition Green Shoes hosts if you're looking for solid feedback and a community. As a host, Green Shoes is extremely good with communicating and troubleshooting any issues that may come up. They take into account the comfortability of the judges and competitors when it comes to reading, giving warnings to content that could be triggering and making adjustments so people aren't reading something they don't feel comfortable with. Would recommend to anyone! "
