Prologue
In a world called Leapia there lives a human-like species called Leaps.
A Leapian is a person from Leapia. A Leapians average life span is 700 to 1000 years.
Every generation, Leaps appoint a paramount King, who rules the entire kingdom.
Leapians live happily and morally following the tradition of rules which are set in a book called The Book of Leap. This book contains the history of their past and prophecies of the future. The book was made dynamically, meaning, any addition or alteration will be reflected and updated in the mind of each leap. At birth every leap has the capability to read. Every leap reads this book once in their lifetime during childhood. Among the rules in The Book of Leap is an act which is considered the greatest taboo, having an affair with a leap who is not your wife. Cheating in a relationship is their greatest taboo. And according to the Book of Leap, it is wrong to fuse a hair with those that are not your spouse.
Their mode of pregnancy is different from that of humans, they don’t have sex, all they need to do is fuse 3 hairs from a male leap and 2 hairs of a female leap and hide it out in secrete place. These hairs are removed from the chest of the male and female and entwined. After 5 months the hairs will fuse to produce a new leap.
4000 years ago, there lived a king who was labeled the “Great King” by his people. The Great King ruled for 600 years. He died at the age 1,200. The Great King once had a dream which he considered a threat to the history of Leapians. This dream was about a couple fusing out of wedlock, breaking their greatest taboo and having a child who would then grow to kill the king of that generation overruling the people, spreading violence and destruction.
The Great King named him Drain. The king immediately called the writers for an update to the Book of Leap. The Great king stated the signs of the coming of Drain and he also mentioned that Drain’s father will be the closest friend to the king of that time. The writers of The Book of Leap pleaded with the king not to include the last part of that prophecy because then every king will have a fear of having a friend. The king listened to the writers and agreed not to include that part. They only wrote the part about the coming of Drain and how he will kill the king of that generation.
Every Leapian was then updated.
Every Leap is born with a special ability, which varies based on the fusing of the parents. If the mothers’ hairs entwine around the fathers’ hairs, then the child will carry on the mother’s powers. If the fathers’ hairs intwine around the mothers then the child inherits the fathers’ abilities. But this is not the case for a royal family, royal blood has the ability to learn and use all the various powers from each family. Some of these special abilities include:Healing, Strength, Create Fire, talking to animals, having visions of the future or the past, Shape shifting and many more.
Drain will also have unlimited powers at birth and could use them without being taught how it is used.
