A bit of background on the protagonist
Calenthe isn’t your typical strong brave protagonist. Shes makes some bad decisions and is extremely self-destructive.
Ambrose is just as self-destructive and he projects it. Both he and Calenthe are extremely stubborn.
Keir is abusive, please do not romanticize it!
The characters are written with flaws! Please don’t be surprised if they make the wrong decisions or if the plot isn’t all satisfying.
This is a romance but the MC’s background deals with a lot of triggers. If you are sensitive to any of these things I do not recommend reading the parts marked with a ”TW"
The story also deals with some mature and slight to highly sexual scenes, if you are uncomfortable with this, please skip
This short story wasNOTmade to be read as smut. The sexual scenes are purposely light in nature as the story has a larger focus on the adventure plot. I wrote this so that it could be more realistic, not just what I think my audience wants to hear. Sorry, not sorry.
