1~ Last Words
Thanks to my dear friend who made my OC come to life; she produced the perfect image of Siri:

Imagine this Jimin for the whole story but without the earrings (these are edits I found it on pinterest, don’t know who actually owns them)

“Any last words, soldier?”
“Fuck you!” Jimin growled through gritted teeth as he glared at the man who had a smug grin on his face.
That smug man in question, Suho, was the leader of an outlaw gang named EXO. They went around towns causing trouble; stealing from banks, barging into people’s homes, taking their food and livestock, forcing themselves on women, and then they’d burn down homes if they didn’t get what they wanted– or after they got what they wanted.
EXO were infamously ruthless, and every town feared them as they would kill anybody who got in their way, including lawmen, women or children. Anybody.
Sadly, Jimin’s pregnant wife, Somi, and his four year old daughter, Yuna, met their demise at the hands of Suho’s gang. The gang raided every house in their little town, then burned it to a crisp.
At the time, Jimin was out of town with his best friend and brother-in-law, Jeon Jungkook. They were soldiers who were given an important task of guarding the transportation of gold to their neighbouring town– which was a three day horse ride.
They were meant to be back in six days but made it home in four after hearing the ruthless gang had passed through their town. The two soldiers were distraught and heartbroken as they saw their town torn and covered in ash. Jimin had never felt such pain until he saw the bodies of his pregnant wife and daughter.
He and Jungkook cried as they held each other, mourning the loss of their family. Their hearts no longer filled with warmth and love, but were instead filled with a cold, wretched agony and violent fury. The brother-in-laws swore to each other they would seek revenge on the gang since they had nothing left to lose.
For over a year, Jimin and Jungkook rode together in search of EXO, hoping to avenge their family, but somehow, the gang managed to move from town to town quickly. Until one day, the brothers came face to face with the gang, and unfortunately, Jungkook got injured. He had too many bullet wounds and had to stay in one town to recover, so he told Jimin to travel on his own for now to continue their mission.
It took Jimin three months on his own to find Suho and his gang – and it was only by chance – and while he put up a good fight, Suho had the upper hand since he had more men.
Now, the 25 year old soldier was at Suho’s mercy with death merely minutes away.
They were on the outskirts of the nearest town which was to the east through a forest. To the west through desert and rocky terrain was EXO’s next destination. The eastern town was where the EXO gang had just passed through, and they didn’t burn it down unlike some other towns as they were friends with the sheriff. Plus, they needed some towns to stay thriving so they could actually have a place to stay and relax. The townspeople catered to them out of fear though, not because they wanted to.
Jimin sat side-ways on a horse with his feet bound together, hands tied behind his back, and a noose around his neck which was hung over a high, sturdy tree branch. Being the ruthless villains they were, EXO thought killing Jimin this way would give him a slow, tortuous death.
Jimin didn’t think he’d be dying this way; staring with hatred into the eyes of the men who killed his family. He wished he had the strength to get out of his ropes but it was of no use. Suho’s men had a bit of fun kicking him around before they decided to end his sad lonely life.
“Well that’s a waste of last words, soldier,” Suho teased Jimin.
“Fine,” Jimin started as his dark eyes pierced into Suho’s, “you want some last words? Mark my words; even if I’m gone, my brother will still come for you. Watch your back.”
Suho scoffed and rolled his eyes arrogantly as if he were bored. “Let’s go, men! We have places to be; banks and homes to raid. Let’s leave this soldier to die on his own.” He clicked his fingers, pointed to the direction he would lead his men, then his horse started trotting away.
Kai and Kris, the two men who tied Jimin up and placed the noose on him, snickered as they looked at the soldier.
“Say hi to your pretty wife for me,” Kai grinned evilly.
Jimin froze for a moment. He needed that split second to process Kai’s words and to ponder why Kai would be giving him a wickedly smug grin. Kai wouldn’t have said that unless it meant something. And that ‘something’ made Jimin’s gut twist and made his whole heart and soul rage with a burning fire.
“You mother fucker!” Jimin spat with pure venom, “You fuckin’ touched my wife?! I swear to God I’m gonna fuckin’ come back from the dead and you will be the first person I’ll come after! You sick fu–uughhck!!!”
Kai and Kris laughed as they pulled the horse away from Jimin, leaving him hovering in the air, gasping and struggling to breathe. While the rope around Jimin’s neck went tighter, the veins in his neck stood out and his vision started to go blurry, but he could see Kai and Kris had already galloped away in the distance.
Jimin’s heart raced as he huffed and gritted his teeth, trying to control the limited breathing he could muster. The tightness around his neck burned his skin, he started losing feeling in his feet, and white and black spots appeared in his vision.
And then, he saw them appear from within a white light. Somi and little Yuna were smiling at him, waving him over to join them.
I’m coming, my girls, Jimin thinks to himself as tears slip down his cheeks. I’ll be with you guys soon.
With his heart and mind slipping, Jimin tried to move towards his family, but each hazy step he took, they got further and further away.
His brows furrowed in confusion as he didn’t understand. Why were they getting further away? He needs to be with them. They’re his family.
He reaches out for Somi as he takes more steps towards her, but she puts her hand out, palm facing him with her fingers spread out telling him to stop. “It’s not your time yet,” she tells him.
“Not my time??” he asks her. “How can it not be my time??”
“You still have something to complete.”
“Right! Avenge you, Yuna and our unborn baby! And then I’ll come to the other side!”
Somi chuckles as she shakes her head, “Oh, Chimmy...” She and Yuna start to drift away as they wave to him again and mouth the word, “Go...”
And that’s when Jimin realises they weren’t waving for him to join them. They were waving goodbye to him.
“No– wait! Don’t leave!” his mind shouts out for them as he tries running to them. “I’m coming! YUNAAA! SOMIII!”
A light flashes before Jimin’s eyes where he sees Yuna disappear. He then sees Somi blow him a kiss and mouth the words, ‘I love you’ before she disappears into the light too.
“Somi...” Jimin mumbles aloud as a few more tears escape the corners of his eyes.
But just before Jimin completely loses consciousness, he sees a figure where the white light was. But rather than getting further away, the figure was getting closer.
Jimin couldn’t fully make out what it was, his last bit of consciousness would only allow him to see his wife. And so, Jimin closed his eyes as the last bit of his strength and will to live dissipated.
“So... Mi...” he mumbled again as his eyes closed.
Jimin suddenly felt lightheaded and dizzy before he felt his head spin rapidly, and then he felt his body crash. He lazily opened his eyes once more where all he could see was a bright light– possibly from the sun, he wasn’t sure.
But then a golden brown figure came into the light. And then he sees blue sapphires shining within the golden figure.
He figured he was moments from death and his mind was playing tricks on him, showing him some kind of angel before he gets taken away to meet his family again.
Beautiful, he thought of the angel.
Jimin closes his eyes, letting the last of his tears slip from his eyelids...
And then, he sleeps.
