The Unkind Life
Life is hard, yet loving,
It is fragile and not always kind,
We take and we are giving,
Yet we lose our minds,
We forget who we are,
And we try to get away,
We to go to a bar,
That isn’t very far,
And we drink the pain away,
We forgive and never forget,
And yet we have our regrets,
We learned,
We loved,
We laughed,
And we are living,
But most importantly we are forgiving,
The world around us may not be kind,
But as long as we have faith we should be fine,
Life is fragile,
Life is precious,
Life is ours to live.
