People can be very heartless sometimes…

"It’s been a long time since Galina last met up with Benji; and, when the two are finally reunited, he is no longer the person who she’d had several romantic encounters with back in the day. For whatever reason, he decides to be very mean to her; and he makes it very clear that he no longer wants to be with her, even though the plan had been for them to be together. Does this mean that Galina will remain single or be matched with someone else?, or will events somehow still conspire to bring her and Benji together despite him having seemed so determined to abandon being matched with her? I’m 5 chapters into this book so far, and (just like with book 1) the story is very good and has me hooked! The characters and plot are very intriguing, and (in addition to Galina’s part of the story) the storyline about some humans who are becoming mutants of some sort is also very intriguing. I highly recommend this book, and look forward to finding out what else will happen in this book/series!"
