When shocking and unexpected situations cause people to have to make difficult decisions…

"I’ve read 18 chapters of this book so far, and as always this author delivers a captivating story with very intriguing and relatable characters. The story moves along and allows the reader to get to know the main characters pretty well, and then it takes a big turn when one of the main characters takes a bullet, and though he survives he is acting unusually when he wakes up. The man’s wife and friend are very concerned, and his change of behavior complicates matters further when he makes romantic advances toward his friend, and while his friend does have feelings for him his friend also cares about his marriage too; and this puts her in a difficult position of having to navigate her feelings and her concern for him and his wife, and of course people can sometimes make decisions that they wouldn’t normally make in such situations, and one could see such decisions going one way or another like a coin toss or a roll of the dice sometimes. I highly recommend this book, and I very much look forward to finding out how the rest of this story will go!…"
