Summary
Sasha, el pisoteado Gran Ángel Guardian, se sorprende cuando su protegido, Bastian, recupera la habilidad de verlo, como en la infancia. Sin embargo, lo que podría haber sido un reencuentro nostálgico toma un giro inesperado que pone en tensión al Cielo, el Infierno y la Tierra: las sombras, espíritus que se alimentan de emociones humanas, han regresado a la superficie. El primer golpe llega con el suicidio de Mateo, uno de los mejores amigos de Bastian y objeto de sus sentimientos. En una misión desesperada por recuperar el alma perdida, el ángel y su protegido emprenden una búsqueda por los rincones de Buenos Aires, desenterrando la complejidad de la vida espiritual de la ciudad, donde hay muchos intereses en juego y hasta los demonios terrestres temen perder la paz que han alcanzado. La tarea se torna aún más peligrosa por la aparición de Lael, enemigo acérrimo del Cielo, quien amenaza el equilibrio de los tres reinos con la caída de los ángeles, incluida la familia del Gran Ángel Guardián. Sasha y Bastian se ven obligados a sanar sus heridas para proteger lo que más aman. En medio de la lucha, surge una conexión entre ellos que deben comprender antes de que las sombras internas y externas los devoren o que el Cielo los castigue por desafiar las reglas de los guardianes.
