Chapter 1 Ana's Brother

JAMES MAXIMUS POV;

Of course, my sister wouldn’t have informed me about this battle. It would be a shame to call it a war. These immature don’t know what war is. I walked inside the forest and observed my surroundings. Such fools! You can tell by the status of the trees that it is a wisdom clan fighting. ‘Don’t hurt plants and women’ who came up with such rules. Walking forward for about 5 minutes, I started seeing the broken branches and the shouts of the people. Something didn’t feel right. Seeing the faces of my clan’s people, I quickly ran forward and saw my sister lying on the ground motionless while this piece of sh!t was kneeling next to her. I saw Kevin and instantly walked forward while shouting;

‘’GET THE F*CK AWAY FROM HER!’’

He looked up and saw me, his face also filled with rage. Quickly standing up, he started saying while I stopped in front;

‘’We meet again.’’

I was about to respond when I saw my sister’s blood. Why didn’t I notice that before? Maybe because she was wearing black. Nevertheless, I said turning to our people;

‘’someone get her to safety and find someone to attend to her.’’

Instantly a guard came forward wanting to proceed with my orders but I rejected that idea by saying;

‘’ YOU! Get your highness to safety and get her some help.’’

That was said by me while I pointed at the caramel-haired guard or soldier, whatever she was;

‘’Considering that she is your sister, the most normal reaction expected from you would be you take her in your arms.’’

Kevin was the one who said that and I couldn’t help but chuckle. I responded while looking at him with a full mocking smile. He wasn’t smiling;

‘’How about you shut the f*ck up.’’

The amount of disrespect I had given him wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn't the most precious thing of his with me. Kevin kept his rage under control and I knew that I had the game under control.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

BlackKat07: Loved the characters and plot. Unfortunately after about chapter 10 the book really needs a good proof-read - lots of spelling and grammatical errors that spoiled it for me.
