Hidden behind a mask on her eighteenth birthday, Zahrra, princess of the immortal Eildun race longs to be seen by her father and people. Tired of being treated as a trinket and not the asset she knows she can be.
Along with a mask, Zahrra has also gained her power. A lot of power. It becomes increasingly difficult to hide her magic as she begins a new chapter as a masked princess and an unknown training with the royal guard. Both roles threaten to break her heart and tarnish her soul.
Between a rising human rebellion and a Fae prince that seems determined to prove why he is her enemy, Zahrra fights to defend her worth and safety.
Sequestered from the world and the truth of her past, Kaylub struggles with future possibilities. Does she continue on her privileged path or turn traitor in hopes protecting those that need it the most?
Gaining the trust of a rebellion leader while having the captain of the guard wrapped around her finger leaves Kaylub in a unique position to be an inside authority. But for which side is still unknown.
Ultimately, it’s the unseen forces that will determine if they succeed or die.
