Borrow A Uterus

My name is Valentina Cecillia Vicaro. People always mistake my name for Valentine. I am an undergraduate student. I want to be an Anthropologist. I'm pretty but I've never had a boyfriend. I'm too picky when it comes to love.

I have a condition that if anyone wants to marry me, he must be prepared not to have children. My uterus had been removed from my body due to a spreading tumor. I took it lightly, it happened when I was 15 years old. At that time, I didn't have a boyfriend or any dream of getting married. So, I just took it lightly. My mom cried but I didn't. I told my mom not to worry because I can borrow a uterus from a surrogate mother.

I'll be 19 this year. Lately, I like writing novels about LGBTQ, Transgender and Androgyny. I promote my views on 'Queer Anthropology' in my 5 of 39 novels. I majored in Biological Anthropology. I still have years to complete my studies, but I'm trying to familiarize my brain with the topic I want to cover for my thesis.

My mother's tears the day I lost my uterus were unnecessary but I was truly grateful for her expression of ultimate worry about my future without a uterus A.K.A womb. I don't have to worry. I have a younger sister who can give grandchildren to mom and dad.

I study the ways societies treat differences. Take me for example, I am a young woman without a uterus. So, what will people call me? In ancient times, men in Middle East and China who underwent castration, lived their life without their wee-wee asset. People called them, Eunuchs.

"Where are you going on Valentine's day, Sessy?" Diana asked. "As usual, Dee!" I replied. "Why not join us at church, we are having a seminar on Valentine's day in church. We will be exchanging gifts too. Would you like to come with me?" Diana asked. "No, I'm busy with number 40." I said to my sister, even though I was a little interested in exchanging gifts. "You and your novels, HUUFFT!!" "Sis, let's just hang out on Valentine's day. You may want to show your work to the youth at church." Diana added. "Okay, tomorrow I will let you know." I replied.

“What’s that?” I asked. “It’s a film called ‘Hadassah’ you know, queen Ester’s real name.” Diana explained. “Can I borrow that?” I asked. “Sure!” She handed me the DVD. I ran to my room to watch it. The movie was good, depicting queen Ester’s moments with the Persian King, her husband. Meanwhile, Hadassah’s childhood friend became a Kasim or a eunuch.

My sister, Diana, is always a light and salt Christian. People were drawn to her sincerity, and her words were sought by people. She studies theology. I call her Dee-dee when we were toddlers, and she chose to call me Sessy for Cecillia. She said she liked the name Cecillia better than Valentina. She is now 18 years old and has a boyfriend.

Shawna: I really enjoying reading this book, I read it twice back to back just in case I missed something lol. Mira & Devryan are actually perfectly fit one another, even when they tried to deny it. Walker of the Dark: Short but definitely intense and amazing. Rage and Aspen were amazing together and I am glad to see a woman who is strong, determined on what she wants and well connected as a bonus. Also enjoyed seeing how even the Mafias is not all "stable" and how a bad bean can spread like wildfire if not contro...
