Poetic and Moving
"The way you write is so beautiful, I related a lot with the MC and it was clear the message you were trying to put across. Style of writing felt so poetic and delicate, I really enjoyed this book. When writing a dialogue on what a character is saying, maybe have italics just for the thoughts instead of on the communication side? Overall I really liked this, very strong building, language and visuals. It resonated with me in a lot of ways. I felt very attached to the MC. Well written, looking forward to reading other works of yours. :)"
Needs some work, but is otherwise very unique and worth the read.
"Story: The main character and the reader once loved one another. But the universe separated them, confining the main character to their hopes of reclaiming the love they once had with the reader, who was forced to forget it all. The concept is very beautiful, and the author keeps this theme consistent throughout the book. I love the unique approach, and, as a deep thinker myself, loved diving into every aspect of this environment. Plot: The plot needs some work. Try building a specific world around the characters, and bringing more relevance to the main character's parents/setting. The usage of philosophical imagery was very beautiful, but needs clarity too. I was quite confused at times with where things were taking place. You mentioned the main character is recalling memories of their past with the reader. If each chapter is another memory, set the tone for the reader so they know, "Oh, this is another memory," and continue diving in as you already had. Writing Style: Very poetic and consistently so. I loved your descriptiveness concerning the universe; the divide between the main character and the reader; and especially the love the main character has for the reader. Like I mentioned before, I felt like I was reading a love letter from the past between someone and their partner. The amount of imagery you put into the admiration, the longing, and the hope the main character had throughout this story was so pure. Technical Skills: Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax needs some patching up here and there. Try separating the paragraphs when there are two different sets of dialogue. I hope this helps. Keep writing!"
