Almighty Power
Zavia's POV.
I was surrounded by darkness...
My mother had left me not long ago.
All she said to me was 'Just wait, you will find light soon'.
I still had no clue what she meant...
I was wandering around in this cold, dark abyss.
I sighed, just wanting to be free.
As if my prayers had been answered, an orb of light appeared by my side.
I gasped as it danced around me, filling every part of my body with warmth and comfort.
Slowly, I reached a hand out Infront of me and it landed on the palm of my hand, making me smile.
Suddenly, light erupted from within it, blinding me.
I shielded my eyes with my other arm as it got brighter.
Surprisingly, the ball of light just disappeared.
I open my eyes hesitantly to see myself surrounded by lush, green grass.
Anxiously, I sit up glancing around.
I noticed that flowers littered everywhere in the field I was lying in.
I smiled because of how pretty it looked.
Suddenly, a sharp pain erupted from my head.
I cry out and desperately rubbed it, trying to stop the pain.
But the pain got much worse...
My face contorted with anguish and tears sprung in my eyes.
I gasp for air, slowly starting to breathe evenly as the pain fades away.
Bewilderedly, I stood up, trying to figure out where I was.
Who was I?
Where was I?
What was I?
Nero's POV
I scrambled and struggled against the burning pillar that held me down but I couldn't escape.
I had to move...
I had to save Zavia...
I soon felt my eyelids drooping...
I fought to stay conscious but felt myself getting much weaker...
I soon slipped away...
Suddenly, I woke up, aching all over.
I looked around warily and noticed that I wasn't in the Ultymia Mansion anymore...
Glancing around, I noticed that I was outside.
As I came to, I recognized it as the Ex-guardian's house...
Uh oh...
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my ankle and winced.
Nervously, I glanced down to see that I was nailed to a wooden board.
There were long thick nails through my feet, wrists, and shoulders.
Struggling, I tried to move but more pain erupted in my body and I stopped.
Breathing heavily, my eyes scanned for a way out of this, hoping the answer would appear infront of my eyes but there was nothing...
Suddenly, the door to the house banged open, making me jump but immediately felt regret due to my muscles exploding with pain once again.
Menacingly, Darius, Artimus, and Asterot walked out, slamming the doors behind them.
They eyed me up with evil looks and went over to a table.
Horrified, my eyes spied plenty of torture weapons.
Darius picked up the sledgehammer and walked over to me, trifling it in his hand.
"If you don't tell me where Zavia is, you can say goodbye to your bones." Darius's voice had an eerie edge to it as he stepped closer.
My eyes saddened at her name, reminding me I couldn't even save her from a stupid fire...
"You won't find her-" I started bitterly.
Suddenly, pain erupts in my shin like a volcano.
I cried out as the sledgehammer digs into my skin.
"I won't ask you again. Where is Zavia?" His voice dripped with malice as his eyes met mine.
Blood ran down my leg as he pushed the sledgehammer deeper into my leg, making me wince.
"If you would have been so kind to let me finish." I growled bitterly through gritted teeth, glaring at Darius whilst ignoring the terrible pain in my leg.
"You won't find her because she is no longer in this world, thanks to you idiots." I glared at them all enraged.
Artimus's face immediately saddened with a mixture of emotion.
Guilt.
Anguish.
Pain.
However when the others glanced at him, he quickly adverted his eyes to hide it.
I knew he didn't mean to kill Zavia again but he couldn't turn back time.
Asterot looked cool and strangely collected as if I hadn't told him someone had died.
Darius looked the most surprised out of them all but it soon turned into a happy grin.
"Finally! It was about time for that freak to die..." He muttered and my eyes burst into a great flame of anger.
I felt my power coursing through my veins, boiling angrily as it tried to take over.
I couldn't control the overwhelming anger and the power consumed me; I started to grow in size.
The nails snapped at my weight, freeing me from being trapped.
Sharp crimson scales darker than shadows crawled up my body, covering my skin.
The tips of my horns turn carmine-colored as the anger in my eyes grew.
Smaller wings grew on top of my original amethyst ones.
The only difference was that they were bright auburn.
The last time this happened, they were only a faint burgundy but now it has taken over, just like my anger has consumed me.
The sledgehammer fell out of my leg as I stopped growing at 7'0.
Blood flowed from my leg where the hammer had fallen out of like a gushing river.
However as I grew, the wound slowly started to close up.
I gripped the handle of the sledgehammer angrily and it shattered instantly.
My long blonde plaited hair grew dozens of crimson and indigo-coloured streaks and they ran down my plait like an imperfect pattern.
Finally, I looked up from the floor and glared menacingly at the Ex-guardians.
I flew at Darius, my hand wrapping around his throat, lifting him off of the ground and into the air.
"How very dare you insult her!" My voice is sharp and echoes all over the area.
My grip tightens on Darius's throat and I see the others run at me.
I glared at them and they fall still.
"Move and I'll kill you idiots next," I said bitterly, blinded by rage.
Artimus and Asterot instantly froze and my glare locked back on Darius.
"Don't you dare insult her ever again." I tightened my grip on his neck even more as he scrambled against my hand.
Suddenly, a golden glow erupted out of him like a furious geyser.
Jagged claws sprouted painfully from his smooth nails and he screamed out in agony.
His dragonly power had long been caged away and it came out roaring.
Marigold spikes of golden power shot out of his head, solidifying into the mold of dragon horns and his wide eyes were a corrupt xanthous.
His serrated sharp claws gouged at my metallic-looking scales, deeply entrenching them in any gap they could find.
I let out a strident pained roar and slammed Darius into the natural oak wall of the building, forcing him to release his grip.
He growled in response and rose shakily, his golden aura evolving into something truly terrifying.
I realized that I wouldn't win this fight if I didn't unleash my full power...
Suddenly, a colossal blinding coal light exploded from me and I started to contort from my original shape.
My scaled strong legs expanded until they were wider than the birch trees around us.
Pointed glistening fangs sprouted from my snarling teeth, shining dangerously in the moonlight.
My usual amethyst wings grew drastically in size, flaring like a furious flame, shadowing the terrified ex-guardians bellow.
Darius attempted to assert his dominance but his golden glow withered and died; his dragon was afraid of me.
Perfect.
I bellowed a strident roar and slammed his trembling body into the oak wall of their mansion; my power was as unbound as a raging Zodiac.
Blood swept out from his skull like a waterfall of death and his eyes went glassy.
The wall fell on him, confirming his death.
I turned to face the others and they bolted away from me.
I let them go as I wanted to find Zavia again.
I had to.
I need her in my life.
I cannot let her go.
Not when we have come this far...
