"A new kind of witch story 😍 One of the best I've been reading on Inkitt. This story is a real page-turner so far! The writing is excellent, and the plot well thought out. I really enjoyed the characters and love the dynamics between Zoe and Felix. All the spicy aspects later on are definitely a bonus. The two main characters are well developed, with lots of personal growth. One of the best parts of the story for me, is Zoe's journey as she navigates all sorts of dangers and find happiness. Mentally, she is one of the strongest, but also kindest, witchy-characters I've yet encountered. She is a woman in need of answers, who has to decide who and what she is fighting for. I love how she goes from a naive and fearful young woman, to realising how strong and unique she is. Will she ultimately fight for herself and those she love, or is the only way to deal with the threats to sacrifice herself? The world Elena Wilde created here is refreshing and intriguing. Looking forward to see how the story develops. I will be recommending to others!"

"It's a good story, makes you want to finish it in one sitting. I enjoyed the storyline greatly. The scene where Felix's father is torturing Zoe, the reconciliation after that felt too quick. I get love conquers all. I just found that the trauma aspect of all that happened between Zoe and Felix was all too quickly resolved. How do you quickly get over such a thing of watching someone you love get hurt by your family so easily? And Zoe letting the pain of being tortured by someone that looks like her mate and knowing her mate is watching and giving excuses of not intervening more so being the one that brought her there after claiming to never let anything cause them to break up or something along those lines. and being so easy to let that go and not hurt their bond. As much as it wasn't a major plot thing I think it would have balanced the book more if the trauma of it wasn't quickly washed out and they were easily ready to forgive the other for the hurt they caused each other. Those were just my feelings about it but it doesn't take away from the story being good and nice. Great work author 👏👏👏✨ "
