Chapter 1: First day of semester break
“Mitch, Mitch wake up it’s the first day of our semester break!” a voice echoed in his ears as he grumbled opening one eye to see Alan his team mate standing at the foot of his bed grinning. Their infamous leader of team ATAM was Alan Lee who was nearly the shortest the group at least out of the males, but the height was deceiving as he had a toned and muscular physique with jet black hair and dark brown eyes.
“Go away” Mitch groaned waving a hand “What time is it?” “It’s like 9am” “THEN WHY AM I BEING WOKEN UP” he roared sitting up as his other team mates Ania and Tom were both standing next to him “Is this another team bonding thing” Mitch sighed throwing his blankets off and jumping down wearing only his boxers as Alan sighed “You know you could have a bit more modesty since we have a lady in the room” “Wait we have a lady in here?” Mitch sarcastically said looking around “He has a point I’m far from a lady” Ania chimed in as Alan sighed “My team ladies and gentlemen”.
After much heckling Mitch gave in and decided to get dressed as he stood in the bathroom washing his face one could see somewhat of an appeal to why so many girls found him interesting. He stood at 6 foot tall with a built athletic body and piercing cold blue eyes while his blonde hair despite being messy and unkempt added to his mysterious dark boy vibe that was further emphasised by the fact he only wore black. A black tank top with jeans while there was a tattoo of a giant broken and bleeding heart with a rose covered in thorns underneath on his right bicep and on his left the head of a huge black wolf and strange red markings written underneath.
“Are you done beautifying yourself?” Ania sarcastically called out sticking her head through the door as Mitch struck a pose “You tell me” “Right scruffy and unkempt” “Yes perfect”. Ania Zochowski the only female member of team ATAM was another like Mitch who was popular but more with the boys as she was rated in the top 3 of most attractive in their year. Easily Mitch could see why with her long blonde hair, perfect white skin, sky blue eyes and voluptuous figure which she showed off with the clothing she wore and yet also her icy cold demeanour just added to the charm that was Ania.
“So what’s this amazing team bonding exercise that we’ll be doing?” Mitch asked the team leader Alan as they walked along the nearly empty halls because well it was semester break and early in the morning. “Team LEET has kindly offered their assistance in teaching us some team building exercises because let’s face it we aren’t much of one” “Hey I happen to like our teams dynamic we leave each other alone and go about our own business” Ania said while Mitch sighed “Remind me to thank Lara for her ‘assistance’ later” he sarcastically chimed in as Tom simply smiled “I think it’s a rather excellent idea, not only can we strengthen our bonds and friendship but at the same time we can learn more about their team and the observe how they go about being a team” “Ever the nerd…”
Tom Sai-Lei was the final member of the group and by what Mitch had called him earlier was a bit of a nerd and rather awkward socially due to the fact his parents home schooled him and never allowed any interaction with the outside world and people. Despite this he to seemed to attract many admirers, his light brown hair was spiked up while most were drawn to his sky-blue eyes as he wore daggy and casual looking clothes that housed a rather muscular and tanned physique underneath. As if right on cue a group of girls that walked past pointed at Tom then smiled and waved as he happily grinned back and returned the wave causing them to both giggle and begin talking to themselves. “What nice girls” was all he said as Mitch sighed realizing they were trying to flirt but were barking up the wrong tree as Tom was as thick as a brick wall.
“Can we at least get a bite to eat before all of this I’m starving” Mitch groaned his stomach agreeing with him as it growled, “Well actually we’re meeting Lara and her team in the cafeteria” before Alan could finish his sentence Mitch went racing off yelling “WOHOOO FOOD”. Pushing the door open he took one step inside as a loud voice echoed around the hall “MITCHHH” a tall busty blonde-haired woman leapt out arms outstretched ready to embrace him but nimbly Mitch side stepped her causing the girl to face plant onto the ground “Sorry Tina food comes first!”
Ania entered in next to find Tina face planted onto the ground “Tried to surprise hug Mitch?” “Tried to surprise hug Mitch” she confirmed standing up before Alan and Tom entered and she leapt at them “GUYSS” she embraced both and since being taller both of their faces were smothered. “Mphmph” Tom mumbled something as Tina giggled “Hey stop that tickles” releasing him Tom stepped back “I was saying I seem to be suffocating” “But it’d be a nice way to suffocate right?” “Not really I find any form of asphyxiation rather distressing”. “I really can’t tell if he plays hard to get or is really thick” Tina mumbled to Ania as they both walked off “I don’t think he knows the concept of playing hard to get”.
“Glad you could all make it” a girl with dirty blonde hair and green eyes announced as she stood at the head of the table. She happened to be Lara the team leader of LEET as Mitch who was busy scarfing down pancakes glanced up and mumbled something with his mouth full. “Learn some manners!” Ania whacked him over the head as he swallowed the food in his mouth “Phew thanks I was nearly choking there”.
“Personally I’m just here so that this low life team can learn a thing or two from some superior people” a sophisticated British accent came from one of the girls seated at the end. She was of medium height like the rest of the girls in her team with long auburn coloured hair and pink streaks through the tip while her hazel-coloured eyes stared at team ATAM and waved a bladed fan across her face. “I’m eager to see what you can teach me Erika” Tom smiled at her as she suddenly went red and began waving the fan faster “I…idot don’t speak so casually to me as if we were good friends”.
The final member of the team LEET a girl with long scarlet hair, blue eyes and wore a strange metallic chest plate slid in between Ania and Mitch before placing a hand around his shoulder. “It should be good getting to know you even more Mitch, although I think we’re pretty close since we’ve showered together” everyone at the table turned to face Mitch with a raised eyebrow as he began choking on a pancake “WHAT THE HELL ERZA WHY DID YOU TELL THEM THAT!”
