Early morning, the time is 18:06:35 off the Outskirts of Aetheria Kingdom within a rural town called Mystoria, a young lady named Miyu was filled with anticipation as she prepared for the first day ceremony of the Kingdom's school Elysian Academy. As she recalls, Elysian, the Academy's name, to some people evokes a sense of paradise and heavenly knowledge, reflecting the harmonious blend of magic and science that the institution represents. Others also suggests that it's a place of enlightenment and boundless possibilities. Miyu couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement coursing through her veins for she has meticulously planned every detail of her departure to this Academy.

With a calm rise from her slumber, Miyu woke up early in the morning, ready to start her day on the right foot.

Miyu's Bedroom

Looking around, her room was adorned with a simple yet elegant charm, where the soft sunlight of dusk filtered through the delicate curtains, casting a warm glow upon her neatly made bed. Her room has a minimalist design, showcasing a perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. The walls are painted in a serene shade of light-gray, complemented by soft, sheer curtains that allow natural sunlight to filter through with a sandy hue.

The room is furnished with sleek, modern furniture, including a comfortable armchair in a soothing pastel red color. A neatly arranged bookshelf displays her collection of favorite novels and academic textbooks, adding a touch of intellectual charm to the space. A small modern desk sits by the window, giving the perfect spot for Miyu to indulge in her creative pursuits or study diligently. " I wonder if I'll have an easy going day today. I have to make sure I make it to each land mark, Osamu gave me clear coordinates to follow so it shouldn't be too much trouble."

"Looks like I am in for quite an eventful day."

"I just think it is best that I see these places myself. I can use Umbral teleportation during the day but it's slower and only useable in places that casts a shadow."

She stepped into her bathroom and begins brushing her teeth..

"In any case I can also use Shadow melding to go invisible just in case."

She steps into her tub and closes the shutter. Turning on the shower grabbing the cold lever pointing it downward. The warm water rushes out as she steps forward to wash away any remnants of sleepiness. As droplets cascaded down her body, she contemplated her outfit for this special occasion. "I got to hand it to the district for lenient uniform policies."

Miyu's Uniform

The uniform consists of a tailored blazer in a deep navy blue color, embroidered with gold accents along the edges. The blazer is fitted and structured, giving it a sophisticated look.

Underneath the blazer, Miyu wears a crisp, white button-up shirt with a mandarin collar. The shirt is made of high-quality fabric that adds a luxurious touch to the overall ensemble. It is tucked neatly into a pleated skirt that falls just above the knee. The skirt is a charcoal gray color, further enhancing the sleek and polished aesthetic.

To add a stylish flair, Miyu accessorizes her uniform with a thin, black leather belt that cinches at her waist, creating a flattering silhouette. She also wears sheer black galaxy tights that shimmers & give her legs a sleek alluring appearance. For footwear, Miyu opts for a pair of black patent leather loafers with gold hardware detailing.

Silently completing her chic school uniform, Miyu wears a few carefully selected accessories. She decorated her wrists with delicate gold bangle bracelets and wears a dainty gold necklace with a small pendant that her mother had given her. Her hair is styled naturally as she releases her curly 4b hair from its bind adding a touch of effortless beauty to her overall look.

With this combination of classic elements and chic style, Miyu's school uniform reflects her unique personality and fashion-forward sensibilities.

With her appearance perfected, Miyu moved on to her daily duties around the house. She started by feeding her two fluffy feline companions, Mochi and Taro, their favorite gourmet cat food. Their purrs of contentment filled the air, bringing warmth to her heart.

Mochi is a charming and affectionate cat with soft, white fur and enchanting blue eyes. He is always ready to play and brings endless joy to his owner's life.

Taro, on the other hand, is a graceful and elegant cat with sleek black fur and mesmerizing green eyes. He exudes an air of mystery and is known for his gentle nature.

Both Mochi and Taro are male cats who have formed a special bond with their caring owner..

"Better leave notes for my neighbor Broc to feed and check on the boys and my plants while I am gone." She notes quietly to herself,

"I can always use Umbral teleportation to pop in just in case", she says, as she closes the magnetic pantry full of cat supplies.

Next, she tended to her beautiful collection of houseplants, carefully watering each one, making sure they thrived under her loving care one last time.

The names of these plants are Black Rose (Rosa 'Black Baccara'), Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata), Raven ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Raven'), Nightshade (Solanum), Moonflower (Ipomoea alba), Black Velvet Petunia (Petunia x hybrida 'Balpevac'), Purple Heart Plant (Tradescantia pallida), Black Bat Flower (Tacca chantrieri).

All of these plants are her treasures among many other plants for produce and remedies. Her treasure though are all native to her hometown. Her abilities, light & darkness manipulation grants her the conditions needed to grow and nourish the more delicate plants in Mystoria.

After ensuring her home was in pristine condition, Miyu headed to her study, a haven of knowledge and inspiration. With meticulous precision, she organized her books, arranged her stationery, and tidied up her desk. This peaceful environment would be waiting for her return after the ceremony, a sanctuary where she could immerse herself in her studies once more. Before her new life living on the campus.

Finally, with everything in order, Miyu settled down at her dining table for a delectable breakfast. She believed that a balanced meal was essential to begin her day on the right note. Humming a sweet tune, for today's menu, she had prepared a delightful spread of scrambled eggs tossed with fresh herbs from her garden, accompanied by toasted rye bread and a colorful fruit salad. To complement her breakfast, she brewed a fragrant cup of Earl Grey tea, its comforting aroma enveloping her senses.

As Miyu savored each bite, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the serenity and joy that filled her life. With her shower taken, her duties completed, and a wholesome breakfast enjoyed, she was now ready to embark on this new chapter of her education journey. As she prepares herself to leave the comfort of her home for a while. Finally turning off her Lo-fi music and television, she is then suddenly but expectedly greeted by her friendly spirit Broc. In the middle of cuddling with Taro & Mochi for a little bit.

Broc had the appearance of a spectral being, with ethereal wisps of darkness and beams of radiant light intertwining around him. His eyes shimmered with ancient wisdom, hinting at a profound understanding of the universe. Adorned in flowing robes that seemed to mirror the ever-changing hues of twilight, Broc exuded an otherworldly charm that both intrigued and comforted Miyu.

"Good to see you Broc, just in time, I was just about to head out now." Miyu says,

"keep an eye on things for me, and thank you, feel assured I'll keep my promise when I get back." She reassures.

Broc only responds with a nod, Miyu continues to the front door.

She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as she closes the front door behind her telling Mochi, Taro & Broc goodbye. The news on television going through her mind about the students entrance ceremony being graced by the king and queen had filled her with anticipation. She awaits the opportunity to speak with the supreme guard of the Queen during her studies at some point.

Miyu thinks to herself,

"I need to be in the queens favor, only then will I have the freedom and resources I need to continue my studies.."

"I have 5 years from now before the Kingdoms Colosseum Tournament. I have to reach the next level of my ability's by then."

"Let's see I've reached tier 3 of Darkness abilities I can feel the surge of power waiting to be explored. There's a few abilities I shall try during my training."

"I am well aware of my ability to manipulate light is lacking a little, especially since I was only able to reach tier 2 at best."

"At this point I've mastered all I can in this areas so reaching tier 3 is the next goal." She contemplates standing still.

"I believe this opportunity is what I've been looking for. Another step closer to finding out what all of this means."

Miyu's gaze is fixed forward lost in thought. Memories of the past floods her mind some of those memories she buried deep in her concisions resurfaces. The energy around slightly shifts before she snaps out of it. As if nothing happened she regained composure and finally took a step forward.
