Introduction
This is Part 2 of the story of Gianna Vitelli.
As the daughter of Alberto Vitelli, the Don of the family, it is an expectation that Gianna will marry another crime boss of a well known and powerful family to forge an alliance. As a consolation, her father has decided that she may attend college prior to settling down so that she can have a chance at experiencing a normal life outside of the mafia.
When Gianna started college, she expected to make new friends, go out partying, and maybe have a few flings. What Gianna did not expect was to find herself being pursued by three different men at the same time. Three different men who each have their own unique place in her life and heart.
Gianna’s new college freedom resulted in her dad’s personal bodyguard and someone who she’s known for years, Joe, to open up to her about the feelings he’s been harboring for her. Knowing that her role is to marry another family’s Don, Joe admitted he was ok with sharing her as long as it meant he could be with her too.
A meet-cute with Nicholas in her college Biology class turned into a full blown relationship in a matter of a couple of days. After saving her from an attempted rape by two college frat boys at a party, Gianna’s feelings for Nicholas intensified due to the heroism he displayed to protect her.
And Luca, the man who Gianna’s father agreed to an arranged marriage for her, ended up capturing Gianna’s heart almost immediately due to the intense chemistry between them and protectiveness he instinctively showed her. Not conforming to Gianna’s expectations of what a mafia Don acts like, Luca continues to impress Gianna with his thoughtfulness, empathy, and diplomacy towards her.
Finding out that Nicholas and Luca were good friends was a shock to Gianna, including the fact that Nicholas is also a mafioso and the youngest son of the Don of the Gambino family. Even more surprising to Gianna was the fact that both Nicholas and Luca are in agreement about dating her at the same time, and more than happy to share her in the bedroom together.
Despite Luca and Nicholas being open to a polyamorous relationship with Gianna, she has yet to admit to anyone that she has something she wants to continue with Joe as well. As a result, their encounters remain a secret… for now.
Gianna’s world was turned upside down when she found out her family had been attacked by a rival family, the Genovese family, killing multiple men, including her long time personal bodyguard Enzo, and almost her father. To make matters worst, Gianna learned that she was the reason that the attack happened, with the Don of the Genovese family wanting his son, Salvatore, to marry Gianna so that they could take over the Vitelli empire.
In response to the threat, Joe becomes Gianna’s new personal bodyguard, and Luca, Joe, and Nicholas decide to ensure Gianna is with one of them at all times. Additionally, they decide that Gianna will train with Nicholas on self defense skills and meditation to help her combat the spells that have plagued her since her mother’s death when she was a child, which cause her to lose consciousness and become completely vulnerable when she experiences too much stress.
All four of them have a plan to attend the Commission Meeting in Italy in 2 weeks to announce Luca and Gianna’s engagement to the other major mafia families, signaling the joining of the Fortunati and Vitelli families and ensuring the Genovese family cannot lay claim to Gianna.
Will Gianna’s three men, Luca, Nicholas, and Joe, be able to protect her from the powerful Genovese family? Will Gianna be able to learn how to protect herself in the mafia world?
More importantly, is there a reality where Gianna will be able to make it work with all three men? Or will she eventually have to choose?
