Let's Put an End to Friends (Cdrama)

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

Dahlia and Aster are childhood “friends”, although their mothers, who are besties, would prefer for them to be more than just friends… Best Friends that is… at least for now. A story about the awkwardness of growing up, friendship, love, and unnecessarily fun drama, let’s put these characters through hell, which is more of a reason why they will always be more than just friends. Inspired by V’s song FRI(END)S, as well as a love for asian dramas, I’m doing my take on a childhood friends to lovers fiction. Be Kind! This is my VERY FIRST lengthy piece of writing… like ever. Imposter syndrome is too real. I hope you all enjoy. <3

Meet the Characters

Meet Dahlia aka “Dally”

Dally is the girl next door.

In the beginning of this story, Dally is a 16-year-old girl, who is seen as a happy, go-lucky, cute, tom-boyish kid. Raised by her parents and alongside her older brother and the two neighborhood boys, Dally is loved.

Externally, Dally seems to have everything, but internally, she is struggling to find her sense of place. Always the support character to her brother, her parents, and sometimes, also to her neighbor, “brother”, and best friend, Aster, she’s ready to be the MC.

Meet Aster aka “Ast”

Aster is the boy next door.

In the beginning of his tale, Aster is a 16-year-old boy, who is seen as a literal genius: Brain Genius, Athletic Genius, and not to mention, Face Genius. Raised by his parents and alongside his older brother and the two neighborhood kids, Aster has a lively life.

Being given everything, Aster constantly feels empty. He struggles to find the right path because he has too many. Everyone expects the best from him, but it’s difficult to navigate what he’s good at and what he actually likes. What he does know is that being with Dally, his life always gets a bit more filled than he’d like. Maybe that’ll end up being the spark he’s been looking for.

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
