Simple and Cute
"Only a few chapters have been written of this work, but it's already a sweet, enticing story. I really like how the author portrays everyday, inconsequential action. The small descriptions paint images as vividly as a movie. I also enjoyed how the characters are depicted - though there was a slightly wonky behind-the-scenes-like intro to the main characters at the beginning of the story, the author does an otherwise impeccable job of show-don't-tell. The dialogue is likewise very natural and really brings the story to life. On the less positive side, there are a lot of errors in this work. I'd hesitate to say English may not be the author's first language because the vocabulary and phrasing are certainly not lacking. However, some proofreading could be beneficial. Additionally, the plot isn't super compelling. It feels predictable and somewhat slow. Of course, if a predictable, cute, high-school slowburn is what you're looking for in your next read, this is absolutely the book for you, and I would recommend!"
