Summary

In the distant future, civilization devolves into a primitive society where machines are gods. Sana, Princess of the Shankur, prefers life as a simple warrior. But fate has other plans... A vicious attack against her tribe leaves her beaten and broken. She loses everything to King Shunlin’s greed, but far more sinister schemes are about to unfold. The king wishes to awaken the AI responsible for ending human civilization. Tortured, defeated, and desperate, she fights through her bonds. Along the way, she meets Victor, a man awakened from a 3,000-year cryogenic sleep. Together, they journey to the Iron Forest to seek help from a mysterious group of wizards and their goddess, Gaia. With war and extermination looming in the distance, Sana must choose between her love for Victor or the fate of her people. Will the price of victory outweigh defeat?
