Chapter 1
*this story has not been properly edited*
I sit in my office going through my planner, wondering if I have time to squeeze in a wax at some point during the week. Lord knows, I need to do it soon. I hate the prickly feel of the new incoming hair. I feel like more of a woman when its hairless, smooth, and silky to my touch. Yes, I did say my touch. The sound of my office phone ringing, makes me stuff the planner back in my travel purse.
“Celeste speaking.”
“Hey, your eleven is here,” Lisa, my secretary informs me.
“Diamond? Your Diamond?” I question her. Diamond was referred to me by Lisa, so I knew of her, but I didn’t know of her personally.
“Yes, my Diamond,” Lisa confirms.
“I’ll be out in a few.”
Ten minutes later, I walk out of my office and into the waiting room, where Diamond is waiting for me. Lisa is sitting next to her, hugging her.
“Here she is,” Lisa announces my arrival. I watch as she hugs Diamond tighter. “You’re in good hands.” She tells her, who looks up at me and tilts her head. Her eyes are covered by sunglass. What is she hiding behind those sunglass? I watch as Lisa gets up and gives Diamond another sympathetic look before she walks in my direction.
“Take care of my girl,” Lisa whispers to me.
“You know I will,” I tell her and I meant it.
Diamond stands and offers me her hand. I give her my best welcoming smile. Her grip is loose, and her hand is sweaty. I take that opportunity to look her over. Her skin is the color of brown sugar, her long bundles look tangled and knotted, her edges aren’t slicked back, and she has on loose baggy shorts and a large holey top with Jesus sandals.
She has a natural ass, with thighs to match. Strippers are paying big bucks to get the type of ass Diamond has, and every man fantasied about her, once if not twice in their lifetime. A strong emotion of sadness and pity overtakes me. Why did she come in this office looking like this?
Now, I know you’re thinking, who am I to judge her? Or maybe you’re thinking, here’s a black sister judging another black sister. See you’re wrong. I am in no way judging her, I’m only making observations. At one point, this woman was bad. Her hair had seen better days, her edges were slayed to the Gods, and she undoubtedly dressed to impress.
So, what made her stop being the sexy woman, I knew her once to be? A man, a no good, trifling man. Now ladies before you rejoice and chant that all men aren’t shit, do know that I’m not a man hater nor basher. In my line of work, I’ve come to realize that there are both trifling men and women out there. What’s my line of work, you ask? Revenge.
Have you ever been wronged by your then significant other? Did he or she do some foul, and ungodly things to you while you were together? Do you wish death on this person? Hire Just Dessert, where I guarantee, you will FINALLY get the last laugh. When opening this business five years ago, after going through the wringer with my ex, I never imagine it would become the success it is now. Now, I won’t bore you with the long details of Just Dessert because that’s boring and quite honestly, you didn’t pick up this book to read about how the company is ran. Instead, I’m going to baby-step you into my Revengeful world. Diamond is my client in this short story, and with her case, I decided to take a hands-on approach, something I haven’t did in a while.Start writing here…
