Summary

~ON HOLD ~ The Flora and the Fauna have avoided each other for centuries, segregated by decades of war that ended only when an unspoken truce was reached, an agreement that all interaction between the species would cease. Yet, that did nothing to stop Willow, a tree nymph of the Flora, from giving into her curiosity. Her wild nature and adventurous spirit driving her to visit the boundary line between the two kingdoms. A section of scorched earth left for dead to draw a distinct barrier between the two halves of the forest. She did not know why she was so drawn there. She told herself that it was because her heart longed to rescue the trees that struggled without the presence of Flora on the other side. She was a tree nymph after all and the trees were her responsibility. However, if she was honest with herself, she knew that it was something else. Something that called to her in a way that she could not explain, beckoning her to the place that she was forbidden from entering. Oak was a resilient, young, wolf shifter who was swiftly rising through the ranks despite a rebellious streak. He finds himself drawn to where he ought not be. On one such adventure he stumbles across a beautiful, wandering Flora and his whole world is turned upside down.
