"Perhaps it was fated for Chloe to run literally into the tall, gorgeous and fabulously wealthy Damian Scott again, after so many years has passed. She collapses at his feet, dropping the box full of office mementos from recently loosing her job. The blonde Damian tries his best to comfort her, but Chloe knows that his privileged life will not allow him to relate to her financial struggles. She leaves him at the curb after climbing into the car of her latest boyfriend Chase. Damian curses himself for allowing the beautiful and exotic Chloe to escape from his arms yet again. His skills at the stock market have taught him the importance of taking advantage of an opportunity once it presents itself. And yet he allows a misplaced phone call from the Ice Queen, Gemma herself, to ruin his what maybe his last chance at happines with Chloe? There is only one thing to do. Damain pockets the business card that Chloe had accidentally dropped from her office box. Cinderella has left him an unusual shoe in the form of the card, but Damian will track her down and this time he knows he will not make the mistake of loosing her again. A lovely romantic tale, about two likable characters surrounded by jealous and possessive people trying to keep them apart. My favorite character was Gemma. (I have a tendency for liking villains). She has this wonderful line. “Remember who holds the leash!” Love it! I might have to borrow that one line for my own writing, if the author E. Pettersen allows it. Anyway an enjoyable read when you’re in the mood for a romance novel."
