Captivating Romance and Witty Intrigue
"Reign is in for a surprise when her old teacher is replaced by Mr. Cain, a.k.a. Ace, who turns out to be her father’s chosen bodyguard for her. This unique concept already had me intrigued from the first page, and I was captivated by the author's fabulous writing style. I particularly love first-person narratives, especially when the main character is witty like Reign. She’s not only witty but also strong and independent, making her a fantastic female lead. As I delved further into the story, I found it to be a great "light" version of a mafia trope, hinting at thriller and suspense while also exploring secret crushes, lovely friendships, and unbalanced family dynamics. The story flows well and is written nicely. However, I did notice that sometimes the emotions of the characters felt slightly out of place given their backgrounds and motives. Despite this, the main characters are easy to root for, and you’ll find yourself wanting to push them closer together to make a move already! Overall, if you enjoy romance, an amazing plot, witty narrative, and a touch of suspense, I highly recommend giving this book a read. It’s a delightful mix of genres that won’t disappoint you. (I am sorry I am giving you the review already, but I am quite busy and I wanted to give you the review I promised. I will, however, continue to read your story because I want to know if Reign and Ace will end up together) "
Hot for Bodyguard!
"Raven haired beauty Reign, isn’t looking for trouble in her life. All she wants is to graduate from her art class and then continue on with her high school graduation plans. So why does hunky Mr. Cain had to disrupt her plans so thoroughly? For he is the high school’s new art teacher, and he seems to have a personal vendetta against Reign, as his heated stare warms up core areas of her body during their painting classes. Even worse, when her father refuses to pick up Reign from school, here comes Mr. Cain to the rescue, offering his driving services. How can Reign say ‘no’ to those hazel eyes, and perfect soft lips. When they reach home, Reign’s father drops the biggest bombshell of them all. “Ace Cain is going to be your new bodyguard!!!” The news upsets Reign. Can this Mr. Cain be trusted? How does her father know, that the same thing that happened to her mother won’t happen to her. Most importantly of all, how long will she be able to resist the charms of the seductive Mr. Cain. A very hot and spicy story! You know Reign and Cain are going to get it on and I can’t wait to see that happen. As for criticism, I couldn’t help but notice of a past/present tense issue. But it wasn’t a major distraction. This is a fine novel, that is bound to leave you wanting to read more! "

"Not everyday you will have a hot teacher as your bodyguard, do you? Reign though is blessed to have that. She was shocked when her old teacher was replaced by Mr. Cain a.k.a Ace who later would be her bodyguard chosen by her father! The concept itself is already interesting, first page in and I was awwed by the author's fabulous writing style! I so love first poin of view and moreover I love witty character so much! Reign, though, is both witty and fun, and I like being in her head so much. She also seems strong though I am still in chapter 3 so I haven't seen how far she will depend on Ace, but from her action and narrative she sounds strong and independent, a recipe for a very amazing female lead character 💕 I am so interested in reading it more, I am sure I will pick it up again once I am less busy. But I highly recommend it to you guys if you like romance, amazing plot, and witty narrative! Read read read this book! It won't disappoint you💕✨️"
