[Past Overhaul's POV]

There I was...

Laying there.

Lifeless.

After Shigaraki and compress took my arms... I couldn't do anything to lift myself off the ground. I couldn't even use my legs since they were SHACKLED to a DAMN board.

All I could do is wait..look at the sky... And breathe.

Reflecting on all the wrong things I've done.

Suddenly...I see someone coming! Shadows! Footsteps! Yes! This might be my only chance! Setsuno Toya and six of the Eight Bullets came. I was so desperate, I looked up at the blonde and asked:

"Hey... Are you here to help me?"

I couldn't see his mouth, but could see the grin forming in his eyes as he said:

"Oh no... We're not here to help you.

WE'RE HERE TO BREAK YOU!"

They all went closer to me, my heart racing. I told them to stay back but they just didn't listen!

Worst of all, Tabe hungrily glanced at my legs.

"Heh heh heh! Bye bye Overhaul! Heh heh! I've got to say, your legs look quite delicious today!" Tabe chuckled.

"No no NOOOOOO!!!!"

I screamed in horror as Tabe bit both my legs clean off! The crimson sprayed into my face! The bones crunched in his mouth! I felt immense burning pain in the lower half of my body.

"We're all really getting tired of your little schemes... You think you're so slick always rewinding and resetting people? Just so they could do things for you? Well, we're not all about that, Overhaul. From now on, the Yakuza are an independent group." Tengai said, putting a foot on my torso.

"We don't need you anymore, and we never will." He opened one eye and said this in my face, breaking me even more.

He then took his foot off of me and said this to the others:

"Come on, let's leave him to rot, boys!"

They all laughed, chatted and walked off.

I was left staring at the sky once more, only this time...

I laid there. Tearful.

Without any limbs at all.

Waiting hours and hours for someone.

Anyone to help me instead of the rotten freakish Yakuza.

Just can't stand it anymore! And then... Rappa showed up just to test my patience and luck.

"Please... Don't do anything to me.

Don't kill me. At all-

IN FACT, killing me would be the easiest situation ever! It would be like... HEAVEN TO ME BECAUSE IT WOULD GET ME OUT OF SUFFERING AND ALL THIS PAIN! ...Just kill me. Please." I said to him as I sweat up a storm.

"...No." Rappa said.

"Why not?! I used you as a pawn! I broke you and remade you! I even did the worst things to a little girl...WHY WON'T YOU KILL ME?" I said to him under my breath.

Rappa knelt down near me.

"Because you were the first one to take me out. You're strong and powerful. And I like that about people. People that could fight me to the DEATH. And that's the thing I stand for. I'm not gonna let you die, Overhaul." He said to me.

My eyes widened.

"Now come on, get in the car." He picked me up and headed to a red car. He put me in the back.

"That... That's the best thing anyone's ever said to me... Thank you." I smiled a bit.

He ignored this, buckling our seatbelts before driving me to Doctor Garaki's office.

[Three hours later]

"Ah! Kendo Rappa! I haven't seen you in a long time! How are you doing—

OH MY GOSH THAT GUY HAS NO ARMS OR LEGS!!" Garaki said once he saw us.

"I kinda figured that'd be your first reaction to me. Kendo saved me from, well, my own group.

It's an embarrassing situation and let's just say...they removed my legs." I began. My nose scrunched a bit once I explained the rest.

"Not only that but, SHIGARAKI removed my ARM. And COMPRESS removed my other arm. So I have just one request..." I said, feeling unhinged.

"And, um, what's that?!"

"Well, ya see...I'd like to have...

Robot arms, a spider bottom half that can turn into a wheelchair, I want to be the ultimate evolutionary beginning. A new era... Of villains. I want to be... A monster. Make my teeth larger... Sharper...k-nines... I want you, to make me a GOD!" Both Garaki and Rappa looked scared of this.

"Wow... That sounds extreme, but... I-I'll try my best, sir!"

"Good."
