Slashers & (Child) Reader

Summary

"I'm not here to watch over you. I should be the REASON you need to be watched OVER." - Freddy Krueger, Don't Forget Me A book containing various Slashers and child versions of you, the reader, scenarios. This will contain sensitive topics, mostly relating to child abuse. It is for the sake of some slashers to be given reason for their actions. As well as how you may react to them. However, they are done in a manner that is discreet and respectful as much as possible without overtly offending any victims of similar fates. This is to help raise awareness for readers who aren't aware of different types of child abuse. All Slashers, quotes, and inspired storylines do not belong to me. They belong to their respective original creators. Only the art and the way the scenes and stories are portrayed are mine. A/N: The book cover will be changed in every chapter art posted. Based on the current chapter's art that was done! :))

Author's Note

This book will contain a lot of sensitive topics and will tackle on different problems and psychological aspects. Typical word count goes around 700-2000 words per story chapter.

It is best to know that, despite this being a book about slashers and a child version of you with them. This is just as much mature, as the others that portray a legal-aged version of you.

I am warning you, as I take much inspiration from many things that will influence each story.

However, I am willing to take into account criticisms on topics that may be deemed unfit. Meaning, I will correct my stories based on the general comment itself when logical.

Despite the fragility of the general implications of a book containing child abuse, I have taken into account to make it discreet. Meaning these wouldn't be as directly stated in the main chapters but will be explained in the extras. So for those who have experienced these types of abuse in their childhood, I'm sorry for you. I will do my best to make it as respectful as possible in its portrayal in raising awareness for other readers who are clueless upon what kind of child abuse lay behind the scenes.

Current slashers in the progress of stories being formulated are:

Freddy Krueger (I can smell the foul stench of insults aimed on this specific cheese demon here)

Ghostface (Bruh, there's so many kinds of them, how tf does one choose-but ngl they all kinda creepy in their own way)

Hannibal Lecter (Y'all love being manipulative characters like this dude huh?)

Jason Voorhees (Bet you all have a 99% chance of it being an iron giant kind of thing for this dude *My Happy Song high voice segment intensifies*)

Michael Myers (Uh... he's um. He's just Michael. I guess...?)

Others will be added soon, but I'll need to watch some movies about them. If you have any in mind, feel free to suggest me some slashers, scenarios, heck even both! :DD

Of course, I will do a bit of a general research on how they may act, their backstory, their abilities and such. These are essential when given a specific scenario in mind. Especially if they may or may not be docile to a child, that child being you.

Each slasher and (child) reader scenario will have an assigned gender role to fit the story in mind. I know this thing sounds funny asf because technically I'm predetermining your birth. Which is a thing for Intersex children, especially for those born in cultures and places that require a gender that are either male or female. But, let me tell you it is not amusing at the least. Another fact I guess for those who are unaware...?

Of course, said slashers will have their personality and backstory suited on the kind of young reader. Though, the stories itself will not be immune to swearing or gore. These are killers, what do you expect? I have to make them as lore accurate as possible.

I put 'Slasher & (Child) Reader' for the reason that putting 'Slasher x (Child) Reader' makes me feel... odd. Like 'character x character' is usually correlated to romantic relationships. So, I used '&' to be a friendlier substitute for such young minds in the face of these entities.

I made this book because there weren't enough (child) reader scenarios out there. People really do be getting into the damsel in distress type of thing and get into romantic territory first (Yes, I am also calling myself out. We fall together 👺). Rather than the intriguing aspect of being a young kid facing such beings. After all... They were made to scare children, no?

Expect art made by me, the author, in every story chapter! Which will... undoubtedly make each chapter take longer. But who cares?! It's a book about you as a child, why not add pictures just like in kid's books?

Each story will be done in the same or similar timeline. So, each version of you, Y/n, is canon to this book. Meaning some events will be weaved in here and there (though the times and dates may be inconsistent, so apologies for that). Expect easter eggs and quotes! :DDD
