Chapter 1 Dragonhood Clan

Our story takes place 200 years before Dragoenea. It all happened on a stormy day. A dragon girl was in the house with her husband, about to give birth to her firstborn child. The firstborn was a female and named Karde. Later, she gave birth to a 2nd female named Dearon. The sisters Karde & Dearon look a lot alike, other than their hair colour and eyes.

As time passed, the sisters grew up in the small village of the Dragonhood clan. Dearon was gifted with the rare ability to transform into a small dragon, no bigger than a house cat and able to fly. The downside was that transforming was hard for Dearon, and she would only be able to use it for about an hour, turning back and becoming naked; this was embarrassing to Dearon, and she didn’t like using her transformation powers very much.

Dearon was also good with a short sword and is strong for her age; she is stronger than the village elder. While Dearon was playful, Getty was always smiling, Karde, on the other hand, was more reserved and very intelligent, often stayed home with her nose in a spell book or learning new spells. Karde is a powerful mage; Karde also has a friendly attitude like Deraon.

Years passed, and on the Sister’s 195th birthday, Karde wanted to show dearon a new spell she had been working on and cast it, but the spell was more the Karde could handle, and she counted to contane it; her spells was out of control and struck there house, the house burst into flames and exploded eradicating it leaving nothing but a creator and damaging many houses nearby, Karde was so scared she was speechless and Dearon frecking out bursting into tears.

The village folk ran over to the sisters’ house to see what had happened and were quick to judge. Some called them murderers. Village women looked at the sisters as if they were evil monsters; Karde grabbed Dearon and ran away from the village as the villagers threw rocks and spat at them, even tossing bottles at the girls and yelling at them to die, rotten brats without even trying to understand what happened.

Little did the girls know that a Demon named Stata had killed the sisters’ parents, tossing their corpses aside, grinning happily, and started approaching the village. A battle broke out hours later, and the entire Dragonhood clan was wiped out in a bloody massacre.

The Demon picked up the clan leader and ripped his head clean off with her bare hands, and with a blank look on her face, covered in blood and guts, carried the leader’s head over her shoulder, leaving the village. No one survived, so she thot.

Karde & Dearon didn’t stop running until it was long into the night; they found an old cabin belonging to an elven hermit who saw the sister letting the girls in and rest. He knew what had happened but remained silent. Dearon, scared, hid behind Karde, who was holding onto Dearon’s hand; the hermit didn’t have much to say and offered the girls tea and pointed to the washroom where they could clean up. Then, the helmet let them use his bed. He told the sisters he had business to take care of, and the hermit lifted the cabin, and he didn’t return for two days.

The hermit gave the girls a backpack full of food and water and a ticket to Dragon City by ship; the old hermit’s words were lax as he spoke, then said Get out of Saranna while you can!, Evil monsters plague this land. Saranna is no longer safe. Dragonea City is the last safe place! He had a sad look in his eyes as he bade the girls farewell, and he put a small pouch of 100 gold coins in Dearon's hands and rushed them out. Dearon & Karde set off west towards the Saranna Sum port, where a ship waits to take them to Dragon City, Dracastey’s Port City.

A few days later, Dearon and Karde arrived at Sum Port City; the City was mainly abandoned, quiet, and very run-down. Only a few elderly fooks wore around, no more than 30, they were the last Dragon race Clan, and told the sisters that the port was.

Karde & Dearon found the small ship and ran down. It looked like it would sink anytime. This ship was listing to one side, had 2 masts and torn sails; Dearon asked Karde if this was the ship. Karde hastily said I think so, The ship’s captain noticed them and sighed. He was an old man who seemed depressed, tired, and ready to give up; Karde asked if this was the ship heading to Dragon City. The old sea captain hawked up and spat over the railing as he limped towards them, then said unforcedly Yes. His wizy voice cracked as he spoke; Dearon said you sure that piece shit would stay afloat? Let alone make it to Dragon City?

The Captain looked at the two sisters and said, 'I don't know. With all the monsters at sea, I would be likely to stay here.' He stood in front of them and spat again, missing Dearon's shoe. He let out a sigh and said It was a joke, this old ship may not look it, but she's seaworthy.

Karde showed the Captain their pass and told him they were heading to Dragonea, and asked how to get there. The Captain spat a luggy on the dock and said, “I do it's a short walk from Dragon City, you can just ask anyone at the pub.

Dearon whispered in Karde’s ear and asked if this was safe to board, but was scared. Karde ignored Dearon and asked when they would depart. The Captain hacked hard, whizzing and spat agen, then said tomorrow at dawn, it’s an 8-day voyage. Don’t worry, your horns. It’s perfectly safe. It’s even faster than Killalot's ship. Of course, old killalot, now that the Captain is a legend! We are old rivals.

Karde wasn’t convinced, and she and Dearon went into town to find something that resembled an inn. After a while, they found an inn nearly running and looked like it had been abandoned for so long, and the roof was almost caved in. They rented it, and the innkeeper was a skeleton sitting at the front desk with a sign next to it that said “free rooms 2nd-floor.” Dearon was scared as it was dark and dingy, and the ruined stairwell to the 2nd floor was no longer usable.

Karde sighed and said there was no 2nd floor anymore. Now what? Dearon transformed and flew around the building, finding one intact room at the back of the inn that was still in usable condition and showing Karde. Dearon turned back and dressed; the sisters settled in for the night.

As Dearon & Karde get ready for bed, Dearon asks what we will do once we arrive in Dragonea. Karde pets her Sister’s head, letting out a long sigh, looks around at the run-down room they are currently in, and says with an unsure tone in her voice, I don’t know, Dearon. Perhaps we can start a new life and find a quiet place to stay, but one thing is for sure: we must leave Saranna as soon as possible.

Dearon said, But the house is destroyed. You killed them. Dearon had tears in her eyes as she finally realized it, but Karde said I don’t know, Dearon. It worked before, you know my spells never fail. Dearon nodded and fell asleep. Karde knew something was off with her powers, but didn’t understand how a simple spell failed so quickly. Her power had always worked. It was like something had manipulated the spell, but Karde wasn’t sure how.

The Next Day, Dearon and Karde board the ship and set sail. The unsteady boat rocked and rolled a lot as it moved along. The listing was so bad it felt like the ship was about to completely roll over and sink; the Captain was smiling like a madman and spinning the wheel like he was dancing at a bomb fire, spitting luggy’s now and then. Dearon got seasick and puked all over the deck, almost falling overboard on the main deck.

Karde admitted it was a bit much for even her, and she stayed in the cabin behind the wheelhouse. After seven days of sailing, the sisters disembarked, and the captain smiled as they walked onto the dry dock. Dearon said I’m never sailing agen and almost threw up on Karde while Karde helped her off the ship.

The Captain hocked up a big luggy and spat out, then said, pointing to a building up the main street leading into the town square and following the road. At the end of it is a pub. Ask any guards how to reach Dragonea City; you shouldn’t have problems finding someone. Just tell them Old Luk sent you!

Dearon groaned and bent over as Karde said thanks, and the two sisters made their way up to the pub. Karde and Dearon entered the pub, which was full of bustling guards talking, and the sounds of chatter filled the air; the entire place was well-designed with large pillars and many oak tables. A stairwell went up along one wall next to that bar. As the two girls walked in, everyone was chatting and chipper. The bartender watched them as they approached the bar.

Karde said Captain Luk told us to find someone to take us to Dragonea City. All eyes looked their way, and one guard stood up and said Mad Luk, you poor souls, he's insane! No one, dears, is listening to that moron; your luck to even be alive. Besides, it’s too dangerous to leave this City. The guard went back to his conversation as the two walked up to the Bar.

The bartender gave the girls a mug of ale and said he was right. The road to Dragonea is a monster’s den. You'll never make it alive. Karde paid the bartender a few coppers, took a drink, and said we came from Saranna, the Dragonhood village. We were told Dragonea was safe. Is that a lie?

The guard approaches the girls as they sit down and says Saranna, isn’t that content plagued by Rath monsters? Anyway, he’s right. There is no one strong enough to go to Dragonea. The bartender said Well, that’s not entirely true. All the guards were scared, and the bartender whispered to Dearon and Karde, who then said a giant dragon lives in Dragonea. It's rumoured that he's so strong, not even 100 guards could stand up to him.

Karde said I’m listening. Go on, The Caption said ohh, come on, that’s just a rumour. No one is that strong. The bartender said you all are idiots. I meant Dragoen myself. He is, as the rumours claim.

Dearon asked how we found this Dragoen. The bartender said that unforntly has banned from stepping foot in our city. Caption: Do you remember the street brawl a few months ago? The unknown fighter was Dragoen. Karde said, Where is this Dragoen now? The guards all fell silent in the bar; another man spoke up. He looked younger and had a girl next to him. He said I can teleport you to Dragonea for a 20 gold fee.

The bartender said Sparon, the healer, my, I didn’t notice you, long, time old friend. Sparon walked up to the sisters and said Follow me quickly. Don’t speak. Sparon led dearon and Karde into Ally and said, looking around. "I’ll teleport you two to Dragonea". Sparon handed Karde a litter and said Give this to a man named Demon Blacks. He’s a grave keeper, you'll find him on the outskirts of the City.

Before Karde could say anything, Sparon teleported the Sister into Dragonea City. Sparon said Welcome to Dragonea and told the sisters to follow the east road for about a day. You can’t miss it, a large house following a graveyard at the bottom of a cliff. Sparon then lifted towards the castle in a hurry.

As soon as they arrived, Dearon transformed and flew around the City. The guards noticed her and got alerted, thinking they were under attack, and soon Dragorea's guards were approaching. When Dearon returned, Karde saw the guards approaching closer and was panicked and said, What did you do? The guards spotted Dearon and yelled Halt! Karde noticed Dearon naked and said, Damn it, Dearon, you idot! We need to hide now!

Dearon then ran away, and Karde ran after her, looking for Dearon while being pressured by the guards, but the guards lost sight of Dearon. Karde was much faster. Dearon, however, got lost and was hidden in an abandoned warehouse, whichgave her time to get dressed and rest.
