THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM

Y/n was graduating from Princeton top of her class, also was just getting her first job interview that her teacher Mr. Jeon had set up for her few weeks before she graduated.

The job offer was in Seoul, South Korea in one of the most recognized companies in that country which it would require for her to relocate in the country away from home.

RM Communications was one of the top ten advertising companies in Seoul whose CEO is Kim Namjoon.

He was accused of being cold, heartless, did not care what he said, when to say nor to whom he said it, he was just crude, blunt so no one dared to stand up to him.

This would be until he makes the decision to hire y/n, she will be his downfall also the one that made sure that he knows who to talk to that way because she wasn't going to have none of that.

Present time in New Jersey...

Y/n was just few days away from graduation from Princeton university, so she was very busy with finals, projects and essays, all that was there for her to graduate.

She had a great art teacher, Mr. Jeon Jungkook, whom was helping her in all he could before she graduated.

He was happy with her because she was so talented and smart, so he took her under his wing, teaching her all that he knew or most of it, he got her the interview that was awaiting for her after graduation in RM Communications, the CEO Kim Namjoon was one of his best friends.

He wasn't a fan of the idea but told him that he was going to give her a try since he was speaking so highly of her.

FEW WEEKS AGO....

- My buddy Jeon Jungkook, to what I deserve the honor of your call?

- it has been too long hyeong, how are you doing, making lots of money I'm sure?

- yep, but the company keeps me too busy, how are you managing with all those youngsters around, are they keeping you busy?

- you know it, but let me go straight to the point I know you are a busy man.

- you know me too well, I have a meeting in about 5 minutes.

- ahhh, well I got one of my students, she is going to graduate in 2 more weeks, she is one of the best there is getting out of here, I would like for you to interview her also look at her resume, I know she could be very useful to your company.

- Jeon you know I don't like foreigners in my company even less if I haven't met them before hand.

- hyeong, she is one of the top students in my class, she is graduating with a 4.0 GPA, she got mad skills in advertising, she is as good as I am at drawing, her ideas are unique, I'm telling you, if you don't give her a try you will regret it.

Namjoon sighed thinking about for a brief second.

- ok Jeon, I'll give her a try, send me her resume as soon as possible so I can give it to HR so they can set an interview for her with me.

- great, will do hyeong, ah by the way please don't be an a-hole, I know how you can be, she is a great girl, don't treat her the way you usually treat all the females around you.

- Jeon don't push it boy, she better be what you said or you'll be dead when I see you again.

- hyeong you know me, I wouldn't put my neck on the chopping block if I didn't know that it was worth the risk.

- yeah, yeah, do you have the hots for her or something?

- what a jerk hyeong, is nothing like that, she is a great student, you run one of the top advertising companies in Korea, the best for the best, right?

- ok, we'll see, by the way. are you taking the trip home anytime soon?

- yes, actually in a few of months after the last quarter of the year ends I'll be going to see my family, Jimin is coming with me.

- ah Jimin, how is he doing?, you better make some time for me Jeon, so we can have a few drinks.

- he is doing great busy with classes too, of course hyung, I wouldn't go home and not make time to see you, well, we'll see you soon then, I miss mom’s food so badly.

- I bet, that's why I can't move out of Korea, other places make it good but is not the same like home.

- agreed hyeong.

- well I got to run I have that meeting my boy, take care, I'll see you guys pretty faces soon.

- aish hyeong, you always being a jack.

- come on Jeon can you lighten up take a joke, are the states making you stuck up?

He said with a loud chuckle.

- aish hyeong, you better be glad that you are older or else.

- weh,weh,weh, sound like a little girl whining, I'll talk to you later.

- ok hyeong take care.

Jungkook shook his head as he hung up the phone.

- this man is just a complete jack, he doesn't change, that awful sense of humor.

TWO WEEKS LATER...BACK IN THE PRESENT TIME.

- so y/n, how are you coming along with your final presentation?

Jungkook asked y/n.

- I'm almost done Mr. Jeon.

-ah, that's great, do you need any help?

- no Mr. Jeon I'm ok, thanks for the offer though, I sure I'm going to miss you the most when I graduated, you are nothing but sweet, took time to help every time I need it me during all this semester.

- of course, you are one of my top students, you have a promising future, I'll be proud when I see you out there making tons of money.

- oh my God professor Jeon, what crazy things are you saying?

- they are not crazy things y/n, I believe in you, I'm pretty sure that you are going to go very far, when you get there I'll be at the finish line to congratulate you.

She smiled at him, he was a grown man with 30 years of age but he was the cutest thing that she has ever seen, not forgetting hot as heck.

- after I graduate I'm going to give you a big ole hug.

He smiled as he shook his head.

- yep not until then, because I might lose my job, if that's then you are going to have to take care of me.

- I wouldn't mind but I need a job first.

- I'm pretty sure you'll get one soon.

- I'm so thankful that you have so much faith in me professor Jeon.

- I do, I really do, after graduation I will give you my number so we can keep in touch, if you need any help with anything please let me know, we can be friends.Start writing here…
