Sonnet no. 1

I hope there’s still reason to let you know,

Today I walk the woods feeling alone.

Your shape painted on all the trees and glow,

Grey mist turning my dreams to stone.

The sadness is the sun shall set in time,

Leaving me here to wish you would not move.

Morrow, I fear without your dear summer,

Will be for sure unworth my breath behoove.

Till then, to love with art each day shall I.

To have you here so close much joy returns,

Your laugh, your eyes meaning the sky,

A song my beating heart forever yearns.

They say that day maybe once more so soon,

But I will cry no more before the moon.
