CHAPTER 1- MARIA WHO?
“Darling! You’re going to miss the bus. Come on, it’s your first day of school! Hurry up!!” My mum, Jennah Simons, yelled as i got ready to head to my new school
Hey! I’m Maria Simons and I’m 16. I’m currently writing this in my diary I got from my aunty for my birthday last year. Oh and diary, my birthday is on the 12th of October! I’m so excited to go to my school, a little nervous but still super excited!! Anyways I’m going to head to school now, bye diary I'll talk to you later
“Coming Mum!” I shouted while running down the stairs
“Took you long enough” My twin sister, Samantha said whilst rolling her eyes
“Yea its not like you take 4 hours to get ready” I replied back to her, side-eyeing her
“Mum! Maria is making me cry!” Samantha said fake crying..
“MARIA SIMONS, be nice to your sister!” My mother said, scolding me
“But mum-”
“Be quiet, you made your sister cry-” My mother got interrupted by the sound of the school bus passing by
“The bus is here, go on, get your bags and get on the bus” My mum said coldly looking towards me and my sister
“Bye Mum!” My sister said in her ‘sweet and angelic’ voice
“Bye sweetheart! Take care!” My mother, smiled while hugging my sister
“Bye Mum” I spoke before going to get on the bus
“Yeah, yeah alright go now” She uttered in her cold voice whilst making breakfast for herself
I got on the bus and sat in one of the empty seats in the front, it’s not fair! Not fair at all! Samantha has always been the favourite just because she looks like my Grandma who died before me and Samantha were born. She was always the favourite for both my parents! I just want to stab her sometimes, I know I sound a bit crazy but you would want to too!
Anyways, now I'm at school-
“Move out of my way, Loser” said a girl with light brown haired girl pushing in front of me as I got off the bus
“Oh, are you the Newbie?” she asked glaring at me with her menacing emerald eyes
“Uh..yea” I answered feeling a bit uncomfortable
“Omg- EW! Your hair is white and you have red eyes?! You’re such a freak!” The girl screamed
“...” i didn’t say anything but i wanted to explode, i wanted to hit this girl. Who does she think she is?!
“Omg EW- your attitude is so- yuck! YOU’RE such a DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE RAT!” I finally exclaimed giving this girl a side-eye
You see, I have Albinism which is a disability which causes you to have white hair, red eyes and affects your vision
“Ugh, do you know how I am?!! I’M LITERALLY THE PRINCIPLES DAUGHTER!” She yelled. , to be honest her breath smelt like fish, does this girl ever brush her teeth? Anyways I did not expect the principal’s daughter to be this bratty but I ignored her, I mean I didn’t have time for this, I was going to be late for class. So I simply walked away and headed to my locker, after leaving my bag in the locker (Except for my maths book since maths is the first lesson) and headed to my maths class.
I knocked on the classroom door and waited for an answer
“You’re LATE, on your first day to school, Ms Simons!” The teacher explained
“Well Miss-”
“No buts, detention for you young lady”
“But Miss i-”
“NO BUTS, now go to detention”
The teacher kept interrupting me while I tried to explain that some girl blocked my way. But anyways I headed to detention after finally figuring out where the detention room was, yea I had to sit in there for 4 HOURS like I know I was late but 4 hours? Plus it was my first day, was this really how cruel this school was going to be? Anyways, I knocked on the door of my 4th class and heard the teacher shout
