Ice in my veins (Radwulf #1)

Summary

Amace of Quajk is a Bletsun, the misnamed "ice witch" of the ancient Radwulf kingdom. After ten years of being imprisoned in the castle erected by the traitor, Tarsinno of Wllnah, surrounded by the constant presence of the Monsters of the Abyss and tortured for the pleasure of her captor, finally manages to escape. The same day that the army led by his counterpart, Clim de Kuejt, managed to defeat the Traitor and his henchmen. It is then that she must take back the reins of her life, trying to ensure that her uncontrolled magic does not harm more people, nor does it continue to cover half of Radwulf with cold and ice. But it won't be easy. Regaining your shattered control and being part of a Radwulf, which is just beginning to rise from the darkness, can be more difficult than maintaining sanity among Monsters. Radwulf's General, Clim de Kuejt, once her best friend and beloved companion, can't seem to forgive her. But he is undoubtedly the only one capable of keeping Amace's uncontrolled magic at bay. Clim may be able to melt the ice, but his own burning fury may condemn him to forgetting more than just a girl's smile.

Before reading:

This is the "official version" of "Hielo en mis venas" in English. The original, in Spanish, you can find it in my profile.

However, this version is actually a test, since my native language is Spanish and my English is not as high as I would like. I tried to keep my narrative intact, but if you know Spanish I recommend reading the original. Since due to the translation, they will inevitably have different details from each other.

I apologize in advance for any errors you may find, but I hope you still enjoy reading.

And I repeat: English is NOT my native language.

You should also take into account:

1-. The "Bletsun" can be considered an equivalent to "elementalists", or even "saints". However, their existence is linked to the lands of Radwulf, due to something his people know as "the promise of the Gods".

2-. Some names may be strange for English speakers to pronounce, except "Amace", "Lesson" and "Hazel", which we can consider as "correct pronunciation" for English speakers. For example: Zafhro (Za-fhro), Kuejt (Ku-ejt), Wllnah (Wll-nah), Zufhwyth (Zufh-wyth), etc. Most of them shouldn't need clarification.

And 3-. The "Radwulf" series, to which this story belongs, consists of nine stories. Complemented by the series "the other Radwulf", and these consist, for the moment, of eight stories starring non-Bletsun characters. It's also related to a series called "Tamers", and six other series I have planned for the same universe. Called "Nanda".

Without further ado, we will see you soon!
